HPG Press Center said, “The uninterrupted actions of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which fought selflessly under the most difficult conditions, defended the holy lands of Kurdistan against the invaders and dealt heavy blows to the enemy, continue. As a result of the effective actions of our mobile teams; 23 invaders were punished and 3 invaders were injured. The invading Turkish army bombed the resistance areas 17 times with chemical weapons and explosives, 12 times with warplanes, 15 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with howitzers.
The details of the actions and attacks carried out are as follows:
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- On July 2, at 15:30, intense clashes took place between our forces and the invaders who wanted to advance in the Çemço Resistance Area. Here, 1 occupant was punished and 1 occupant was injured.
- On July 2, at 16:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Çemço Resistance Area from the Bakurê Kurdistan border with armored vehicles were targeted and shot down by our forces. After this action, in which 2 invaders were punished, the advance of the invaders was stopped. At 17:00, the invaders who wanted to advance again came under heavy fire with heavy weapons by our forces. Here, too, 2 occupants were punished and 2 occupants were injured. The invaders were able to remove their losses from the area with armored vehicles with the support of attack helicopters in the evening hours.
- On July 2, at 18:00, the invaders in the Çemço Resistance Area were targeted by our YJA Star moving teams and 1 invader was punished.
- Attack helicopters that bombed the Çemço Resistance Area on July 2 at 24:00 came under intense fire from both sides by our forces. As a result of the effective hits, the helicopters had to move away from the area.
- On July 3, at 08:10, the invaders in the Kokerê Resistance Area were targeted by our mobile YJA Star teams and shot with heavy weapons, and 4 invaders were punished.
Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, in the Xakurke region;
- A group of invading forces that came to Girê Martyr Derwêş on July 2 were followed. The invaders under control were targeted and shot with heavy weapons and 7 invaders were punished.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- On June 29, at 21:00, the invaders in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were shot with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
- On July 2 at 11:10 and on July 3 at 01:30 and 05:50, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot three times by our mobile teams with the assassination tactic, and the 3 invaders were punished.
- On July 2, at 18:30, the invaders who wanted to bombard the war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot by our forces. As a result of the effective hits, the invaders had to retreat one step.
- At 06:40 on 3 July, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot with sabotage tactics and 2 invaders were punished.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On July 2, war tunnels in Kokerê, Şikefta Birîndara, Werxelê, Girê Hakkarî and Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were bombed 17 times with chemical weapons and explosives. Intense drone activity has been observed over the Resistance Zones.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On July 2, Werxelê, Kunîşka, Kokerê, Çemço, Girê Hakkarî, Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, mortars and heavy weapons fired from the border police stations.
- On July 2, Werxelê, Girê Hakkarî, Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 15 times with attack helicopters.
- On July 2, the Kurojahro, Girê Amediyê, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Saca Resistance Areas were bombed 12 times with warplanes.”
