For the 360th consecutive day of Operation al-Aqsa Flood, Palestinian Resistance forces in the Gaza Strip continue to confront the Zionist occupation forces across multiple battlefronts, dealing significant blows to the invading forces.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, executed a complex ambush against Israeli forces in the al-Fukhari area, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
According to details released by al-Qassam, the ambush resulted in casualties among the occupation forces, with reports of both fatalities and injuries.
The Brigades successfully destroyed two armored personnel carriers and targeted a Merkava tank and two D9 military bulldozers using explosives and Al Yassin 105 anti-tank RPGs.
Following the ambush, al-Qassam observed helicopters landing to evacuate dead and wounded soldiers from the battlefield.
‘Extremely difficult’ situation
Meanwhile, Zionist media described the situation as “extremely difficult,” with reports emerging of an attempted capture operation and additional injuries among occupation troops during clashes in Khan Younis.
Simultaneously, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) announced two operations against Zionist forces in the Netzarim corridor, southwest of Gaza City.
In the first operation, the brigades shelled a number of soldiers near the Justice Palace in the area with Al Yassin 107 RPGs. They also targeted Zionist command positions at the Abu Urayban site and the Turkish hospital vicinity in Netzarim with Al Yassin 107 rockets and heavy mortar shells.
As Resistance forces in Gaza continue their fight against occupation forces, the death toll among Israeli officers and soldiers has reached 715 since the start of Operation al-Aqsa Flood, with 346 of those deaths occurring since the beginning of the ground invasion of Gaza.
These figures were reported by the Zionist military, though they are believed to understate the actual losses. Resistance groups in Gaza, through their statements and documented footage, assert that the number of Israeli casualties is far higher than what has been publicly disclosed.
Concentrated bombing in the center, south of the Strip
In a recent wave of assaults, Zionist forces targeted a group of civilians near the municipality park in central Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of three individuals and leaving several others injured.
Simultaneously, heavy artillery bombardment struck the eastern side of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Additionally, occupation forces launched smoke shells around the electricity company in northern al-Nuseirat, intensifying the aggression in the central Gaza Strip.
The occupation launched airstrikes on northern al-Nuseirat, one of which claimed the lives of six martyrs who were brought to al-Awda Hospital, alongside several wounded civilians. The strike targeted a home belonging to the Mazhar family in the Ard al-Mufti area, north of al-Nuseirat.
In a separate attack, a Palestinian man, his wife, and their two children were killed when Zionist forces bombed the al-Adini family home in Deir al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip.
Additionally, Zionist artillery shelled the northern area of al-Bureij camp in central Gaza, accompanied by heavy gunfire from occupation forces’ vehicles.
In the southern Gaza Strip, for the sixth consecutive day, occupation shelling targeted farmers’ lands in the al-Amur area, east of al-Fakhari town, near Khan Yunis. This was part of the ongoing incursion into citizens’ lands and properties, intensifying the destruction and displacement in the region.
