Wild March and Riots for Kyriakos, Against Militarism and Against All Authority (Hamburg, Germany)

On Saturday, November 16, 2024, a few dozen people marched without warning and disguised through the St Pauli district in Hamburg.
An international day of action had been called for this day in memory of anarchist comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris.
Anger against the ongoing militarization, genocides and the celebration of the 69th anniversary of the German Federal Army was brought to the streets.

Along the route of the wild demonstration, numerous leaflets were distributed against militarization, the army and in memory of anarchist comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris, who died in an explosion in Athens on October 31, 2024, as well as in solidarity with anarchist comrade Marianna M., injured in the accident and now in prison, and with anarchists Dimitris P. and Dimitra Z., they too were imprisoned following the explosion.
Slogans were spray-painted, firecrackers were set off, barricades were erected and an SPD party office was attacked.
When the police arrived, people dispersed into the night – according to media reports, three people underwent checks on the street during the evening.

Against all war, against all militarization.
The Bundeswehr has no reason to be celebrated.

Revolutionary hearts burn forever!
Unconditional solidarity with the comrades imprisoned in Athens.

Here are the texts of the flyers distributed:
Against all militarism, against all war! From Hamburg to Athens – Revolutionary Solidarity!
Today we take to the streets to express our anger at the celebration of the 69th anniversary of the Bundeswehr. We are witnessing the continuous escalation of wars, genocides and armaments, we are witnessing an offensive orientation of society towards militarism, we are witnessing the authoritarian formation that accompanies it internally and the brutal and murderous isolation externally.
We want to counter all this with an attack on all borders, on all states, on all authorities.

In militant memory of the anarchist comrade Kyriakos, who died in an explosion in Athens on October 31.
Those who die fighting for freedom live forever – in the heart of social revolt.
All the strength to Marianna, who was seriously injured in the explosion and is in hospital in the hands of the police.
Marianna – as strong as our passion for freedom!
In solidarity with Dimitra and Dimitris, arrested after the explosion and currently in prison.
No rebel will be left alone in the hands of the state!

We take to the streets and commemorate the fallen anarchist comrade Kyriakos Ximitris, who died on October 31 in an explosion in an apartment in Athens. He dedicated his life to the international struggle against the state and capital – and to borderless solidarity with the exploited and love for his friends and comrades.
Kyriakos – forever in our hearts!
Pain and anger!
Revolutionary solidarity with Marianna, in prison and seriously injured as a result of the accident, and with the other imprisoned comrades.
