On November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we join our hearts with millions of women around the world who are taking to the streets against male domination, male violence, male dominated capitalist order, male dominated crimes of fascist, colonialist regimes, and we call out our rebellion, male dominated order and our determination to fight!
This year, we commemorate the Mirabel sisters with love and respect and direct our great anger at male domination and fascism. In the name of the women who inspired the great women’s struggles, from Jina Amini in Iran to Romina Tejerina in Argentina, who were murdered by male domination and driven to suicide, we raise the women’s freedom and fight for equality against complicity. In Baku, Rojava and all of Kurdistan, in Palestine, in Lebanon, in Lebanon, we salute their resistance to colonialism and war.
This year’s November 25 actions are taking place in the context of the rise of war and occupation attacks in the region, the policies of the imperialists and the reactionary, colonialist, fascist states of the region to enslave the peoples of the Middle East, violence against women, massacres and policies of enslavement.
That is why thousands of women are massacred in Palestine and in Lebanon where thousands of women are being held captive, sexually tortured and raped.
That’s why women in Iran who fight to the death against the regime face kidnapping, beheading, torture, sexual torture and execution.
That is why the colonialist fascist chief Tayyip Erdoğan is aware that the regime’s goal is to seize women’s won rights, limit and crush women’s freedom struggle, stabilize male domination on a political Islamist basis, and surround women’s action, women’s body and women’s labor with all means.
In Turkey and Baku, the gender antagonism has become so sharp, the struggle against male domination has become so fierce that dozens of forms of violence against women have been measured, most notably massacres and murders. The fascist chieftain regime’s policies of extracting women’s gains and impunity for male violence have resulted in violence on the rise. In the last year alone, more than 400 women were murdered by male violence. The filthy, corrupt, dehumanized male domination of male sexuality, male power, extends its dirty hands to children, abuses, rapes and massacres. Colonial fascism elevates heterosexual aggression in the context of sexist attacks, seeks to crush the LGBTI+ movement and destroy the openly identifiable LGBTI+ existence in society, for which it absolves all forms of violence and massacre with impunity.
Revolutionary women prisoners, female political leaders of the united struggle are being held hostage in dungeons, co–chairmanship gains are being snatched in coups. Female self–defense prisoners are being held in prison for decades, while the release of female killers and perpetrators of violence against women results in the murder of women in dozens of cases.
One leg of stabilizing male domination is indirect state violence, the other leg is the promotion of male violence through policies of impunity. On the one hand, police, military, judicial bureaucracy attack women’s organizations, leading women, women’s actions, massacres, arrests and detentions. On one hand, harassment against women, rape, torture, murder, hate violence against LGBTI+ and male abuse and sexual assaults against children are exonerated with impunity.
We will not succumb to the attacks of the colonialist fascist regime, we will defend women’s earned rights, their positions against attacks. We will increase the united resistance of women against imperialist, colonial wars, occupations and fascism.
On November 25, we will be the voice of Iqbal, Ayşenur, Rojbin, the dozens of women who have been murdered this year.
We will stand against the violence of men and the state with the organized violence of women, and we will increase organized struggle and organized self-defense. We will not stop embracing women who practice self-defense and responding to male violence with the legitimate violence of women. We will not hesitate to become a subject in social life and political struggle, to be the subject of workers’ and laborers’ resistance against capital, fascism and colonialism, Kurdistan’s struggle for freedom and equality, and to organize in anti-fascist organizations. From Istanbul to Amed, from Kobane to Hesake, from the Middle East to Europe, we will take to the streets with rallies, de facto legitimate protests and night marches, and we will hold the fascist chieftaincy regime and male domination to account for its policies of violence and impunity.
We Will Increase Organized Self-Defense Against Male Violence!
We Will Expand the United Struggle of Women Against Fascism and Colonialism!
Long live the Women’s Revolution!
Long live socialism!
