Through a public communiqué sent to our media infowerken.com the Coordinadora Arauco Malleco claimed 5 sabotage actions against forestry operations and large landowners, actions that were carried out by the different ORT in memory of the weychafe Pablo Marchant Gutierres killed in 2021 in an act of resistance in Carahue.

CAM – A YEAR AFTER THE FALL IN COMBAT OF THE WEYCHAFE PABLO MARCHANT: WITH HIS EXAMPLE, WE ARE MOVING FORWARD TOWARDS THE MAPUCHE NATIONAL LIBERATION.
The Coordinadora Arauco Malleco declares to the Mapuche nation and to the national and international public opinion the following:
Kiñe: That one year after the fall in combat of the weychafe Pablo Marchant, as CAM we claim a series of sabotage actions against the main expressions of capitalist extractivism in different parts of the Wallmapu:
– ORT Pablo Marchant: sabotaged Forestal Mininco’s work in the Fundo La Liebre and San Guillermo (Carahue) and destroyed 4 trucks, 8 machines and 3 containers, in addition to confronting the special forces that were guarding the site.
– ORT Mangil Wenu: carried out chem attack in the El Coihue property (Traiguen – Lumaco) and destroyed 1 warehouse and 3 vehicles owned by businessman Cortessi.
– ORT Kallfulikan: sabotage in the Huichaco sector in the Mafil community, destroying 6 machines, 2 trucks, 2 containers and 1 forestry van.
– ORT Txenka Marimán: attacked Mininco forestry site in Chol Chol -Galvarino and destroyed 4 trucks, 2 machines and 1 van.
– ORT Pelontraru: carried out sabotage in Fundo San Alonso of Forestal Mininco in Lumaco, where 1 cargo truck was destroyed.
At the same time, we publicly thank the other organizations of resitance in Wallmapu that accepted the call to remember the weychafe Toñoyem, also sabotaging the big capital, which expresses a progress in the unity of the weychan.
EPU: That with these actions, in addition to remembering and paying homage to the figure of toño, we reinforce our political-military line as a revolutionary organization, which is in accordance with the strategic project of resistance and reconstruction of the Mapuche nation people that we have promoted for decades and for which Pablo Marchant gave his life.
KÜLA: That we are emphatic in establishing that extractivism and militarization in the Wallmapu will not change under the pseudo-left government of Gabriel Boric nor with a new constitution, therefore, as CAM we will deepen our strategic project both militarily, politically-culturally as well as productively, intensifying the territorial recoveries, the sowings in the reappropriated lands, the raising of ruka, paliwue, nguillatuwe and protecting other sacred spaces such as the Eltun of Pablo Marchant, which revitalize our ancestral culture and unite us in the resistance… Thus we reinforce the Mapuche weichan with more Newen ka feyentun. It is for this reason that we make it very clear that we are not going to dialogue and even less sit down to negotiate with the current government. We cannot delegate our struggle to institutional changes that have historically failed and have divided our people and our territory, a matter that has been attempted uninterruptedly for the last 30 years until today by successive neoliberal governments.
MELI: This is why we call for the strengthening of the Organs of Territorial Resistance – ORT and other expressions of resistance following the line of the weychan, without giving in to the crumbs offered by the new folkloric institutionalization of multicultural indigenism that is also being promoted by the large forestry companies and other corporations to co-opt certain sectors of our people. In these times of strategic confusion, where Chile is boasted as a country supposedly on the way to plurinationality, the call is for unity and coherence in the frontal resistance against capitalism and colonial persistence in Wallmapu, since plurinationality is nothing more than an empty aspiration in the minds of indigenous pseudo-intellectuals, of nostalgic leftists and of the new state apparatus that wants to atomize the revolutionary expressions and resistance of our people with policies without territorial legitimacy and without the morality of having recognized the true Mapuche autonomous struggle.
KECHU: That the unity in liberation is national and international, with those sectors that continue the struggle with dignity and coherence, because although we have lived the consequences of colonialism and the capitalist system in our territory, its dynamics is continental and worldwide, a matter that unites us in resistance with other revolutionary expressions outside the historical Wallmapu.

Direct attacks to big capital have been developed during this week by the Coordinadora Arauco Malleco, this time the target has been the big forestry companies and large landowners stationed in the Mapuche territory, state of the art machinery, trucks, containers and also warehouses have been the targets of the actions of various ORT of the CAM deployed in various parts of Malleco, Cautín and Los Ríos.
All these actions are framed in the first anniversary of the cruel murder of the weychafe Pablo Andres Marchant Gutierrez, who during an act of sabotage and confrontation was killed in the Santa Ana farm of Forestal Mininco after being shot in the head by a policeman when he was already restrained.
Toñito, as he was called inside the organization, was an active militant of an Organ of Territorial Resistance (ORT). That is why from today, according to sources of this media, the CAM begins with several ceremonies such as a Guillaimagun inside the former Pidenco farm between Lumaco and Capitan Pastene.
