Hamas’ armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, said Sunday that its Resistance fighters executed a complex ambush, dubbed “Breaking the Sword”, against occupation forces east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza on Sunday.
In detail, al-Qassam stated that its fighters targeted a Zionist military Storm vehicle, used by the Combat Intelligence Battalion of the Gaza Division, with an anti-tank shell, inflicting confirmed casualties.
When Zionist reinforcements arrived for rescue, they were ambushed with an anti-personnel explosive, leaving troops dead and wounded.
Al-Qassam also confirmed targeting a newly established Zionist military position in the ambush area with four RPG shells, followed by mortar fire, and the group’s military media released footage showing the attack on invading occupation vehicles near the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

For its part, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, published footage documenting its fighters seizing two military drones while they were carrying out reconnaissance missions in the skies over Gaza City.
This comes as the occupation continues to ramp up its assault on Gaza, displacing and killing tens of thousands of people and exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the enclave.
Zionist media reported a serious security incident in northern Gaza on Monday, where an explosion in Beit Hanoun left three soldiers injured.
According to reports, the soldiers were wounded by an explosive device that detonated during a military operation in the area. Rescue aircraft were dispatched to evacuate the injured personnel from the scene.

The incident occurred in Beit Hanoun, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, an area that has seen repeated confrontations throughout the ongoing war.

Emergency response units reportedly arrived quickly, and the injured soldiers were evacuated for treatment via military aircraft.
