The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command sees that the international peace council, which will be chaired by the American president with his mechanical powers, has overlooked the root of the conflict with the Zionist entity, which will remain ignited as long as the historical right of our people to their land is ignored..
Our people, who have been subjected to a massacre and a Nazi-Zionist extermination war for more than seven decades, were expecting a fairer stance on their political rights in the face of the logic of dealing with them as if they were merely groups of people seeking a livelihood. This was evident in the UN resolution that imposed political and security guardianship over our people, especially through the formation of what was called the international stabilization force, which will deal with their right to resist the occupation as a crime that requires disarmament.
We in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command stand with our people in rejecting this decision and expressing this rejection in all forms encompassed by international law for any people under occupation.
A ceasefire and the provision of humanitarian aid cannot erase an absolute historical truth: that the Gaza Strip is part of historic Palestine for a people who sacrifice and struggle for their freedom and will resist all attempts at normalization, displacement, blackmail of their rights, and exploitation of their suffering in all its tragic dimensions, which would not have existed without the Nazi occupation, the Arab and regional reality, the fragmentation in the Palestinian position and front, and the imbalance of power, which was reflected in the Russian and Chinese stance that expressed their fears and implicit rejection of the unjust UN resolution..
