I have been in prison for 15 uninterrupted years. 22 months in Patagonia, territory occupied by the Argentine state where I was detained and the other 13 years and 2 months in the maximum and high security sections of Santiago and Rancagua where I am today at the time of writing these letters.
Necessary letters as an inevitable reference of the passage of time and its implications.
As an inescapable trace of an oiled memory with the gasoline that has lit thousands of barricades and vindictive fires demanding the release of anarchist and subversive prisoners through the years of struggle and resistance inside Chilean prisons.
I have been living for 15 years in high and maximum security confinement regimes in which sensory deprivation tends to be normalized as well as the hostilities of the environment, the structure and the internal order of the whole prison daily where the goal is to break your will and make you a citizen prisoner respectful of all its repressive and authoritarian internal order built to break the indomitable spirit of those of us who walk standing up, dignified and without fear within the prison reality through which we have had to pass.
Even from the captivity I have seen and lived the oblivion and amnesia of the majorities, the comfort and the conveniences of many, the complicit silence and the artful attack of the press and the police, their politicians and all those who in some way or another have made us invisible, defamed and attacked us from the comfort of a computer, from their comfort zones, from their privileged positions as harmless citizens servile to the normality of what exists.
But I’m still here!
Aware that I am waging a daily struggle for life and liberty together with my herd, comrades and affinities scattered in different parts of the planet.
Aware of the state revenge that perpetuates my imprisonment using the lowest ruses that power uses to justify a life sentence undercover that not even judicially they can explain, only apply it for having the control of the country and the monopoly of violence converted into law.
That is why today I am not imprisoned by the Chilean rule of law, but I am kidnapped for reasons of state in Boric’s Chile.
When there is no legal reason and it is used at the convenience of domination to annihilate the resistance embodied in people who fight in all scenarios without bending, it is because the state decision is above any democratic position of which all those who affirm the current state of affairs boast, including positions of justification of the current government and its functional citizen shit to the status quo that allows the gross advance of the policeization of life that assumes that social tranquility is based on the extension of repressive laws along with the maintenance of a large repressive apparatus disguised as democratic stability obviously to perpetuate the privileges of the ruling class.
With the strength and clarity given to me by each one of the complicit hearts from different places and territories, with the necessary temperance to maintain the subversive anti-authoritarian resistance in prison with my heart and mind I greet and embrace with all the insurrectionary love to each comrade and sister who has never lowered her arms in this fight to death against the state, the prison and Capital.
To all those who have been with me in all these years of imprisonment, to those who do not stop in gestures and acts of direct solidarity, to those who agitate from the heart for my exit to the street and the end of the rotten Pinochetista inheritance and its military justice that coexists comfortably with its democracy of consensus, to all my fellow anti-authoritarian prisoners who worthily raise their voices independently of the cell or the prison where they are… A strong and tight embrace full of complicit loyalty.
To the enemies of yesterday and today, no water!
