Confront the Criminal Zionist “Prisoners’ Execution Law”

Tariq El Tahrir strongly condemns the ratification by the Zionist Knesset of the law to execute Palestinian prisoners in occupation jails. This is an extreme escalation against our prisoners. This decision is not only a legal matter, but an attempt to erase the Palestinian resistance that bears its seeds inside these prisons. Our prisoners are our compass in the struggle for liberation and return. We must uplift them as they are the land defenders and our leaders. To uplift and defend them is in defense of Palestine and her people as a whole.

Tariq el Tahrir condemns in the strongest terms the zionist knesset’s approval of the “Prisoners’ Execution Law,” the detention of at least 9,500 Palestinian prisoners including 78 women and 350 children, the detention of at least 3,442 Palestinians without charge or trial, and the starvation, medical neglect, torture, sexual assault, and humiliation that they face. We raise a salute to the struggling Palestinian prisoners.

The zionist entity’s approval of this law represents a criminal escalation of the zionist policy toward the prisoners which already includes executions through torture and medical neglect, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 88 Palestinians in zionist prisons since October 7. This is in addition to the many martyred Palestinians from Gaza whose bodies have been returned to Gaza showing signs of torture, hanging, being run over, and having organs stolen. It is a blatant attack on the prisoners movement, including the student prisoners who face campus raids, targeted and random arrests, and attacks on their student council elections.

The law is a reactionary escalation against our prisoners by the Zionist entity, driven by the combined pressures of the deepening internal contradictions within the Zionist project and the cumulative impact of the sustained resistance operations. It represents a rash attempt to reestablish control through intensified repression while this temporary entity continues to hurdle towards its inevitable collapse.

Our prisoners are our compass in the struggle for liberation and return as leaders in the resistance, strugglers who continue to organize behind bars, and those who have sacrificed the most for the liberation of the land. The “Prisoners’ Execution Law” is not only a legal matter but is an attempt to erase the Palestinian resistance that bears its seeds inside these prisons.

Resistance proves to be the surest way to liberate the prisoners. In Palestine the many prisoner exchanges between the Palestinian resistance and the occupying entity, including the thousands of Palestinian prisoners liberated through Al-Aqsa Flood, testify to this. Internationally the popular support campaigns for the UK prisoners for Palestine and their steadfastness through their hunger strike, and the constant mobilizations for Lebanese struggler Georges Abdullah and his unwavering commitment to resistance, won the liberation of these same prisoners. Our duty to our prisoners is to continue to resist.

We echo the call to escalate our actions in support of the prisoners and in defense of all of Palestine in light of the criminal plans of the zionists.

Free all Palestinian Prisoners!

Free all Palestinian students!

Dismantle Damon!
