US President Joe Biden delivered a rambling address declaring a multifront war against Palestinians, their allies, and the Russian state, while giving a green light to continued Israeli colonial aggression.
The Israeli state convened a cabinet meeting and claimed earlier in the day that its, long threatened, invasion of the Gaza Strip was now imminent. The fascist Israeli regime has shown extraordinary trepidation in regards to actually launching the invasion, but it seems the Biden regimes’ assurances were enough to bring the war to its next, unpredictable and potentially world chainging, level.
The Biden regime was clear in that it intends to continue its war with Russia in Ukraine with the hope of weakening a main rival in the competing, new world system. Furthermore, the regime is attempting to allocate a considerable amount of funds to Taiwan, in an attempt to foster another international conflict zone in east Asia. While in West Asia the US is now embroiled in a conflict that is attempting to destroy Palestine, ethnically cleanse the population in Gaza, and drag its main opponents into a huge war.
The resistance against Israeli/American aggression has responded to the growing American belligerence.
Hamas stated today that the “war started in Gaza and has expanded.” The Joint Operations Room of Palestinian Resistance Factions — which the Communist Organizations the PFLP and DFLP are members — and the Axis of Resistance Forces are now operating continuosly and intensively with full coordination, according to Lebanese news, Al-Akhbar. The PFLP Deputy Secretary-General called for a comprehensive intifada against the occupation.
Hezbollah attacked several military positions across the Lebanese border in the occupied territories. The resistance in Gaza launched rockets toward Tel Aviv, while armed struggle has commenced in the West Bank.
Missiles were fired off the coast of Yemen and were intercepted by a US war ship. It is still unclear if the ship was the target or Israel.
The Iraqi resistance targeted two US military bases in Iraq with rockets. While Iraqi’s drove to Jordan to participate in the war.
In Syria, US forces were attacked with a drone at the Al-Tanf military base.
Several US troops were wounded in these operations and one died due to a heart attack.
It is clear that these attacks are a small glimpse into the near future. As the Israeli regime begins its invasion of Gaza the resistance against the occupation will likely explode in the Muslim world and engult the US and its proxies.
