On Tuesday October 24th, the Lions’ Den calls for the beginning of an indefinite, comprehensive student and workers strike in support of Gaza until “life returns to Gaza.”
Their message to those in the West Bank: “We call on you to take to the streets, light tires, and clash with the IOF and their settlers.”
“No one will be able to separate us from our people slaughtered in Gaza, and life will not return to normal in the West Bank before it returns to Gaza first.”
“After this day, there is no normal life, nor even a semblance of normalcy, in the shadow of bombardment, destruction, massacres, and rivers of blood.”
“Our bleeding blood in Gaza and the West Bank is more precious, nobler, purer, more honorable, and greater than some economic wheel or some commercial shops….How can you live a normal life in the face of the horrors of the massacres committed by the occupation against us?”
“The zionist war council is permanently convened with strong and explicit American presence, while Arab councils are filled with timid condemnation, and their strongest decisions are to reject the displacement of the Palestinian people.”
“What is happening now in Gaza will extend to the West Bank and will later extend to Arabs wherever they are. It requires all of us to stand united to defend our existence.”
