In a unified act of vengeance, Al-Qassam Brigades in Lebanon launched 40 rockets towards “Gibor Camp” and an IOF barracks in “Beit Hillel” this morning, causing
extensive damage and
injuries in northeastern occupied Palestine. The operation was executed in direct response “to the zionist massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip and the
assassination of the
martyr leaders and their brothers in the southern suburb of Lebanon.”
Some may be surprised at Al-Qassam Brigade’s activity in Lebanon, but it is far from the first time that Palestinian resistance factions have carried out operations on this front since Al-Aqsa Flood began. Notably, nearly all of these operations are carried out with coordination and support of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, underscoring the Unity of the Fields.
In a strategic and preemptive move as the battle expands, Hamas in Lebanon announced in December the “Vanguards of Al-Aqsa Flood” training camps. Before that, the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades (PFLP) announced a general mobilization of Palestinians, especially within refugee camps in Lebanon.
Al-Qassam Brigades and Hamas have offered at least 9 martyrs who ascended on the soil of southern Lebanon or inside the northern border of occupied Palestine, including leaders and fighters. Simiarly, Saraya Al-Quds have offered at least 12 martyrs in southern Lebanon and on the northern border, many of whom are Palestinian residents of refugee camps in Syria, highlighting the relentless determination of diaspora to return and their yet untapped power.
