On the 18th Anniversary of the Areeha Prison Raid and the Kidnapping of the Comrade Secretary and His Comrades
This crime will not be forgotten and will remain a testament to the brutality of the occupation.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed on the 18th anniversary of the occupation’s raid on Areeha prison and the kidnapping of the comrade leader Ahmad Sa’adat, the Secretary-General of the Front, and his comrades with American and British collusion and the negligence of the Palestinian Authority, that this crime will not be forgotten, and will remain a testament to the criminality and brutality of the occupation, and the involvement of the American administration and the West in the genocide waged against our people.
The Front considered this treacherous crime as a confirmation of the criminal and treacherous nature of this zionist, fascist, and Nazi entity, reflecting the complicity of America and Britain and their direct responsibility for the suffering of the Palestinian people and the brutal massacres committed by the occupation around the clock. As history repeats itself, this crime of the occupation is being repeated today in Gaza Strip in a much larger and more horrific manner, unprecedented in the world, with American and British support and green light.
This crime revealed the sinister role played by the Security Forces of the [Palestinian] Authority and the security coordination in pursuing and arresting the comrade Secretary-General and his comrades and detaining them in Areeha prison, which eventually led to the occupation’s storming of the prison.
The Front emphasized that this crime has not and will not break the will of the comrade leader Ahmad Sa’adat and his comrades, who have turned the occupation’s prisons into a new arena of confrontation.
The Front concluded its statement by urging the free people of the world to continue their mass activities in support of Gaza, which is undergoing a zionist genocide in every sense of the word, and to continue their movement in support of the prisoners who are subjected to a brutal war of abuse and repression, which escalated after October 7th by the decision of the war criminal, fascist, and racist Itamar Ben-Gvir.
