Regional and Gaza Resistance Hits Zionist Colony Hard as International Isolation of Occupation Grows

Mohammad al-Hindi, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, provided an interview with media site, Al Mayadeen which provided insight into the Palestinian situation and negotiations, along with the repercussions of the UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Hindi affirmed that, while the resolution reflects the isolation that Zionist project is experiencing worldwide, it will not practically change any of the circumstances.

He pointed out that the United States and the occupation entity are allies, with their disagreements being tactical rather than strategic. He emphasized that their relationship is broader and more strategic than the relationship between Biden and Netanyahu.

Regarding the recent public disputes between the US and the Zionist entity, he described them as “theatrical”, adding that they ultimately benefit Netanyahu, who is trying to portray himself as the only one standing in the face of Biden’s administration. Al-Hindi explained that the decisions of international institutions are implemented when they serve US interests, and currently, Washington is not inclined to activate them.

He further stated that the Zionist entity is dragging on the negotiations in a misguided fashion, despite the fact that the Resistance has clear and specific demands and has shown flexibility.  “Netanyahu is obstructing the entire process,” he stressed.

He added that the detainees are the winning card in the hands of the Resistance, and the Zionist entity wants to recover them at a cheap price. He affirmed that the occupation has failed to recover a single captive through military means, despite the claims of Netanyahu, who continuously talks about achieving a “decisive victory”.

Al-Hindi also affirmed that Netanyahu and his government’s priority is to continue the war, not the captives.

“The Resistance activates pressure tools to achieve the best outcomes in the negotiations,” he maintained, emphasizing that the Resistance has prioritized relieving the Palestinian people and stopping the aggression and that it “will not hand over [its] people to a truce [that would allow] Netanyahu afterward to return to his crimes.”

On Washington’s role in the war on Gaza, al-Hindi said that the “US is providing the coverup to ensure that the war continues, the Resistance in Palestine is uprooted, and the Resistance movements in the region are weakened.”

On Rafah, al-Hindi said “Netanyahu talks about the attack of Rafah as if it will bring victory,” confirming that the Resistance is well and resilient on the battlefield despite all that is being promoted by the occupation.

Al-Hindi also discussed the support fronts in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, confirming their importance as they represent one of the methods of pressuring the United States to discuss serious solutions to stop the war.

In this context, al-Hindi said that the occupation is deeply involved in Gaza, so it cannot expand the war or open an additional front in Lebanon.

The senior PIJ official concluded his remarks by saying that the occupation has not achieved the goals of this aggression, and any assassination operation of Resistance leaders will not change the equations on the ground.

In this context, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, Ghazi Hamad, emphasized that there has been no progress in the negotiations and that the occupation maintains an obstinate position, noting that it is clear that the occupation wants to continue the war despite all international positions.

Hamad shed light on the massacres in Gaza committed right after the UNSC resolution was passed, saying that the occupation is defying the international will.

Regarding the negotiations, he stated that the occupation met the flexibility shown by the Resistance with more intransigence, pointing out that the Zionist side has negotiated each time without a clear position, which represents Netanyahu’s policy.

In this regard, Hamad explained that the main gateway to the agreement is still closed due to “the occupation’s refusal to consider the idea of reaching an agreement in the first place.”

Addressing the negotiations, Hamad noted that there is an exchange of ideas with the mediators, emphasizing that this exchange does not come within the framework of pressuring Hamas as it has become clear that the Resistance movement does not offer flexibility unless on its own terms.

Commenting on the potential attack on Rafah, the Hamas official did not rule out the possibility that the occupation would launch a widescale aggression on the city, yet he stressed the necessity of international pressure on the occupation to prevent this.

Hamad concluded by saying that the Israeli leadership is delusional and will not be able to achieve its goals in Gaza.

Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade downs Zionist drone

On the 172nd day of the war, various Palestinian Resistance factions continue to confront occupation forces’ incursions into the besieged Gaza Strip, causing casualties and injuries among the ranks of the raiding forces.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, sniped an occupation soldier on the al-Rashid Street, west of the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, in Gaza City. In the same area, al-Qassam engaged a military vehicle with an al-Yassin 105 shell.

In the southern part of the Gaza Strip, specifically in the al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis city, al-Qassam fighters engaged two Merkava tanks with tandem shells, destroying one of them.

The Military Media of the al-Qassam Brigades published footage showing Resistance fighters engaging a military vehicle with a Shawaz explosive device in the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Hospital.

Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, attacked military positions in the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City with 60mm mortar shells and a  military vehicle with a tandem shell.

The Military Media of the al-Quds Brigades released footage documenting Resistance fighters targeting the occupied city of Askalan and the Gaza Envelope settlements.

In a similar context, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades attacked military vehicles stationed in the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex with mortar shells and sniped an Israeli occupation soldier.

The Brigades’ Resistance fighters also shot down a Skylark 2 drone that was on a reconnaissance mission in the skies of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades confirmed earlier that its Resistance fighters carried out 16 operations against the occupation during the past 24 hours, including engaging in fierce confrontations with the raiding forces and attacking gatherings of military vehicles with mortar shells.

The Brigades’ operations also included engaging a tank with an RPG shell in the center of Khan Younis, inflicting several casualties among its crew.

In addition, the al-Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian al-Mujahideen Movement, attacked occupation forces infiltrating southern Deir al-Balah with several 80mm mortar shells.

Earlier on Tuesday, a source in the Palestinian Resistance confirmed that Resistance fighters are engaged in confrontations with occupation forces in the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

The source noted that the battles are concentrated in the southern and southeastern sides of the hospital, amid relentless Israeli shelling.

Ansarallah launches 6 actions in 3 days

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) conducted six military operations in 72 hours, the spokesperson for the YAF Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated on Tuesday.

These top-tier operations came in support of the Palestinian people and in commemoration of the 10th year of the resilience of the Yemeni people against the Saudi-led US-UK-backed aggression on the country.

The Yemeni Armed Forces’ Navy and Missile Force conducted a series of joint operations totaling four in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden.

Summary of Yemeni attacks

YAF targets vessels in Red Sea, Gulf of Aden

Naval and Missile forces targeted the US-owned and flagged MAERSK SARATOGA container ship in the Gulf of Aden. The last position received by maritime traffic monitoring websites was 3 days ago near the coast of Djibouti.

The YAF also targeted the US-owned APL DETRIOT container ship in the Red Sea. Moreover, the Yemeni forces targeted the UK-owned W HUANG PU in the Red Sea. In their last joint operation, the Naval and Missile forces targeted the PRETTY LADY bulk carrier, which was heading to Zionist-occupied ports in Palestine.

YAF target US destroyers in Red Sea

The Yemeni Unmanned Air Force conducted two large-scale and top-tier operations targeting two US destroyers in the Red Sea.

YAF target Zionist positions in ‘Eilat’

On its part, the Yemeni Missile Force also conducted a number of operations targeting Zionist positions in occupied Um al-Rashrash whose land was usurped to build the southernmost coastal settlement of “Eilat” on the Red Sea.

Brigadier General Saree said that the operation successfully achieved their objectives.

Yemen steadfast in its support of Palestine

“The Yemeni Armed Forces gift these military operations to all the freedom fighters of the Palestinian Resistance factions in the Gaza Strip, confirming its continuation of executing further operations against hostile targets,” Saree explained.

“[These operations] affirm that we will continue to uphold our decision of restricting the navigation of Israeli ships or ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine in the Red and Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian people and the Gaza Strip is lifted,” the Yemeni military commander concluded.

Hezbollah launches 50 rockets in one attack

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah has launched a series of attacks on military sites and forces on Tuesday, including attacks on a major command headquarters and the “Meron” Air Traffic Control site.

Matching occupation forces’ escalation, which was witnessed in aggressions on Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, the Resistance responded with attacks on strategic sites, including the “Yarden” Barracks, which was hit by Hezbollah’s rockets for the first time since October 7, 2023.

Hezbollah also conducted operations in response to attacks on civilians and their homes in South Lebanon, including overnight attacks on “Shomera” and “Shlomi”. Hezbollah also launched a top-tier operation, targeting the highly-prized “Meron” base in response to a drone attack on aal-Suwairi in Western Bekaa and attacks on the city of Baalbek.

A list of Hezbollah’s operations on March 26

  1. Hezbollah fighters targeted a building appropriated by soldiers for military use, dealing direct hits to the site in “Shomera” at 12:45 am.
  2. Concurrently, Hezbollah fighters attacked another building used by occupation troops in the “Shlomi” settlement.
  3. On Tuesday morning, the Islamic Resistance launched another attack in response to attacks on Lebanese towns, targeting two structures in “Avivim” utilized by occupation soldiers, using appropriate weapons.
  4. Half an hour later, at 10:45 am, Hezbollah fighters targeted a grouping of occupation soldiers in the “Biranit” Barracks, dealing direct hits to the intended targets.
  5. Soon after, the Resistance launched a follow-up attack on another grouping of occupation soldiers at the same site.
  6. Nearing noon, Hezbollah launched its eighth attack so far on the “Meron” Air Traffic Control military base, firing a number of anti-tank guided missiles at the site which is located more than 8 km behind the occupation line of withdrawal and constitutes the highest point in 48′ occupied Palestinian territories.
  7. At 11:00 am, Hezbollah fighters targeted an infantry force in the vicinity of the “Shtula” settlement, killing and injuring all its crew members.
  8. Responding to attacks on civilians in South Lebanon, Hezbollah artillery units targeted occupation soldiers in the “Hanita” settlement at 2:50 pm.
  9. Just 10 minutes later, artillery units targeted another infantry force in the “Hanita” woodlands, dealing direct hits to the force.
  10. Hezbollah fighters then fired a barrage of 50 improved Katyusha rockets toward the “Yarden” Barracks in the occupied Syrian Golan, which has become the main Zionist military HQ after confrontations broke out last year. The site is located approximately 18 km away from the nearest point of the Israeli line of withdrawal, marking Hezbollah’s response to a Zionist aggression on the Bekaa Valley.
  11. At 5:05 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted an military force in the Zibdine Barracks in the Israeli-occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms.
  12. Later, at 5:30 pm, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a grouping of occupation troops in the vicinity of the Roueissat al-Alam in the Zionist-occupied Lebanese Kfar Chouba Hills.

Why are Tuesday’s operations important?

The Islamic Resistance has been launching attacks across the Lebanese-Palestinian border in support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance in the Gaza Strip, since October 8, 2023. Close-range and direct attacks on  military sites, assets, and troops have usually come in this context, while occasionally launched in response to Zionist aggressions on Lebanese border towns.

As the military command expanded its range of targets deep into Lebanese territories, such as the city of Baalbeck, the Resistance’s command responded to escalation by widening and deepening its attacks on military sites.

Most of the attacks, in response to escalations, targeted military sites in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, however, the most recent operation targeted the deepest Zionist site yet in the same area.

According to the group, the “Yarden” military site, also known as the “Machne Yarden” Barracks, is the Zionist military command’s headquarters “during the times of war.” When measured to the nearest point from the Zionist  line of withdrawal from Lebanon, the “Yarden” Camp is 17.6 km away from the nearest liberated point. However, Hezbollah fighters are expected to have fired a large barrage of 50 rockets from a farther distance, due to logistical and security reasons.

The site itself is built on approximately 1 km2 of usurped Syrian territories and hosts a number of units affiliated with the occupation military’s Central Command. Among these forces is the 636th Nitzan Field Intelligence Unit. It is worth noting that in Hebrew, “Yarden” corresponds to Jordan. According to this publicly available information, the latest Hezbollah attack marks the first attack on a Zionist military site related to the Central Command, rather than the Northern Command, which is responsible for commanding operations on the Northern Front with Lebanon.

In detail, Tuesday’s operation was preceded by yet another precision attack on Zionist assets in the “Meron” Air Traffic Control Base. “Meron” hosts a number of high-tech radar systems, including early detection systems, which have been optimally utilized in the base due to its altitude, which allows for a complete scanning of the topography to the north of it.

Hezbollah’s attacks on “Meron” have disrupted the military’s control over military aircraft, as well as the functionality of anti-air systems. Since the first attack on “Meron,” anti-air systems have experienced difficulty in detecting low-flying objects, as well as cruise missiles launched by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq against targets in occupied territories.

Moreover, the attack on “Meron” marks the eighth attack on the base, the first of which was launched on January 6, 2024, eventually leading to the complete destruction of the base’s equipment. The Zionist military command has replaced the equipment on multiple occasions, only to be met with the Resistance’s strategic and long-range anti-tank guided Kornet-EM missiles.

Iraqi Resistance launches attacks

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that its fighters targeted late Tuesday and early Wednesday the Zionist “Ovda” Airbase and the Speer military site in occupied Palestinian territories using drones.

In a statement, the Iraqi Resistance mentioned that the two operations come in continuation of the path of resistance and in support of the people of the Gaza Strip, and in response to the massacres committed by the occupation entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.

The statement also affirmed the Iraqi Resistance’s commitment to striking the enemies’ strongholds.

In the past weeks, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq intensified its operations against targets inside occupied Palestinian territory.

A couple of days ago, the Resistance announced that its fighters targeted the headquarters building of the Israeli occupation’s Ministry of Security in occupied Palestinian territories with drones.

It said the attack comes as part of the second phase of operations, which will escalate during the holy month of Ramadan in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and in response to the occupations massacres against innocent civilians.

The second phase of the Resistance’s operations includes the enforcement of a blockade on Zionist maritime navigation in the Mediterranean and putting Zionist ports out of service.
