Resistance Launches Rocket Salvos From Gaza and Iraq, as Operations Continue

The Palestinian Resistance continues to confront the occupation and its forces raiding the Gaza Strip, through confrontations and firing rockets toward the surrounding settlements, as the Al-Aqsa Flood saga enters its 180th day.

On Wednesday, the al-Quds Brigades announced the targeting of “Sderot,” “Niram,” and “Kissufim,” as well as settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip, with a missile attack in response to the occupation’s aggression.

The brigades announced that, in conjunction with the al-Amoudi Brigade – al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, they targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers and occupation vehicles south of Gaza City with a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Earlier, the Palestinian Resistance confronted occupation forces in the vicinity of the al-Awda School, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, as the occupation’s artillery continuously shelled the region.

The western area of Khan Younis also witnessed fierce confrontations according to Palestinian media outlets.

In turn, the al-Qassam Brigades announced that it carried out operations targeting an occupation infantry force with mortar shells east of the Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

Meanwhile, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades carried out an operation against a post and occupation military vehicles north of Khan Younis also using mortar shells.

The failure of the occupation

Amidst the ongoing battles by the Palestinian Resistance, Zvi Hauser, former head of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee in the Knesset, acknowledged that “it is not feasible to dismantle the entire military apparatus of Hamas, comprising 35,000 members,” following six months of warfare that failed to achieve its stated objective. This objective, per occupation officials, was eliminating the Resistance.

In this context, the former Prime Minister, Ehud Barak, outlined several occupationfailures since October 7, 2023, including setbacks and errors in the Gaza war, resulting in numerous fatalities and a significant toll of wounded, disabled, and psychologically affected individuals.

Earlier on Monday, the occupation withdrew from Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, under the fire of Resistance fighters who conducted several operations simultaneously.

Al-Qassam Brigades fighters conducted the most complicated operation, ambushing occupation forces in Khan Younis. Al-Qassam fighters targeted an armored personnel carrier (APC) with a locally produced tandem rocket-propelled grenade, dubbed al-Yassin, in Khan Younis’ city center. In the same area, Resistance fighters launched another shell toward seven Israeli occupation forces, dealing direct hits to the intended targets.

After evacuation units and rescue teams arrived at the scene to assist the targeted force, al-Qassam fighters fired heavy machine guns at the forces, killing and injuring them.

On its part, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades targeted a Merkava 4 tank in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, just before occupation forces withdrew from the hospital.

It is noteworthy that the Islamic Resistance in Iraq is steadfast in its retaliation against the occupation’s massacres of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. This retaliation includes targeting occupation airports and ports deep within the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Resistance had previously conducted precise and forceful strikes against US occupation bases in Iraq and Syria.

On Monday, the Resistance announced that its fighters attacked a vital Zionist target in the occupied Palestinian territories with appropriate weapons.

Simultaneously, Zionist media reported that a fire broke out after sirens sounded in “Eilat” due to a rocket, drone, or interceptor missile attack, adding that firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene.

The Islamic Resistance stated briefly that its fighters targeted the Zionist air base of “Ramat David” using drones, emphasizing their commitment to continue destroying enemy strongholds.

The resistance confirmed that the operation is a continuation of its approach to resisting the occupation, supporting the people of Gaza, and responding to the massacres committed by the  occupation against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
