Despite the attacks of the occupier Turkish state with all kinds of chemical weapons, air and ground bombardments, the guerrilla resistance continues unabated. Fifteen occupants were punished in the actions, 1 mobesse camera system and 2 drones were shot down.
Acoording to the HPG:
“The fierce resistance and effective actions of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas continue unabated. Despite the fact that the occupier Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 38 times with chemical weapons, 56 times with warplanes and hundreds of times with obus, it did not achieve any results. In the actions carried out by our YJA Star forces 15 occupants were punished, 3 occupants were injured, 1 mobesse camera system and 2 drones were shot down.
Information about the activities carried out is as follows;
IN THE ZAP AREA;
- At noon on 18 May, the occupiers in the Kurojahro area were targeted by our forces with heavy weapons. The goals set in this action have been successfully achieved.
- At 18:40 on 20 May, the occupiers, who were trying to position themselves around the battlefields of the Berehid xwedahin Resistance Square, were closely targeted by our forces. As a result of this action, 4 occupants were punished and 1 mobesse camera system was also damaged. Skorsky helicopters lifted their losses after the occupying Turkish army heavily bombarded the area with attack helicopters on the night of 21 May.
- At 16:15 on 21 May, the occupying Turkish army wanted to advance after bombarding the battle positions of Hewehîd Hewrê in the Qehîd Şahîn Resistance Square with explosives. These invaders were targeted by our forces with sabotage tactics and were defeated. There 2 invaders were punished.
- At 16:30 on 21 May, the occupiers who were moving around the battlefields of the Berehit xwedahin Resistance Square were targeted by our YJA Star forces and closely they have been beaten. As a result of this action 2 occupants were punished.
- At 21:50 on 21 May, a drone flying over the battlefields of the Martyr Tolhildan area of the Kurojahro Resistance Area was shot down by our forces.
- On the afternoon of 21 May, the occupier Turkish state army bombed the battlefields of the Martyr Tolhildan Resistance in the Kurojahro Resistance Area seven times with chemical weapons and explosives. After the bombardment at 15:30 a group of occupiers in protective clothing against the chemicals wanted to advance towards the battlefields. These invaders were targeted by our forces with sabotage tactics and beaten. When the invaders, who had retreated a step, wanted to advance again, they were effectively hit by bombs and individual weapons by our forces. At 17:25 on the same day the invaders were again targeted and hit at close range. As a result of these series of actions of our YJA Star forces at least 6 invaders were punished and 3 were injured.
- At 22:30 on 20 May, the occupiers who wanted to advance towards the battlefields in the Resistance area of the Wounded Cave were beaten by our forces with individual weapons and 1 occupier was punished.
- At 19:20 on 21 May, an explosive-laden drone flying over the area of the Wounded Cave was shot down by our forces.
- On the night of 21 May, attack helicopters trying to bomb the areas of Birindara, Karker and Çemço came under heavy fire from our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the helicopters were forced to leave the area.
- On 21 May, the occupying Turkish army bombed the battlefields of Hewehid Hewrê, Berehit Berxwedan, Şehin înahin, Şehid Tolhildan, Şikefta Birindara and Çiyareş 31 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
ATTACKS OF THE ENEMY
Information about the attacks is as follows:
- On 20 and 21 May, silent and small reconnaissance planes flew over the areas of Girê Cûdî, Girê Amediyê, Girê Bihar and the villages of Kanê, Sergelê, Dêreşê, Guherzê, Berçiya and Mijê in the district of Amediyê. This movement is still going on.
- On 21 May, the border posts of Girê Rûbar, Girê Cûdî, Girê Şehîd Kendal, Girê Yehîd Yunus, Girê Şehîd Leşker, Kurojahro, Şehîd demdin, Mamreş, Çiyareş, Şehîd Dunya, Çemço and Rênçbir Axa bombed with howitzers and helicopters and 36 times with warplanes.
- On 21 May, the areas of Hakkari Hill, Charchel Hill and Orte Hill in the Metin area were bombarded with obus and 13 warplanes from the border posts.
- “On May 21, the Werxel Resistance Area in the Avaşin region was shelled by howitzers from stations along the border and bombed seven times by warplanes.”
