SOLIDARITY WITH THE ONGOING REVOLT AT THE MAMMAGIALLA PRISON IN VITERBO!
We learn in these hours [Wednesday 10 July] of a revolt underway at the Mammagialla prison in Viterbo, which broke out following the death of a young immigrant prisoner, which seems to be due to an illness, locked up in the common ward.
It is from this morning that various forms of protest began until the outbreak of the real revolt and we give news of the destruction and devastation of the entire third floor of the D1 ward.
The prisoners are barricaded in sections and are defending themselves with incendiary gas cylinders from the cops who attack them.
The prison is currently surrounded and the roads leading to it are blocked, but this does not prevent us from shouting all our anger and hatred for an infamous state that needs prisoners, all our hatred for its servants who are diligent in the slaughter of the proletarians and exploited of this putrid society.
PRISON IS TORTURE!
The comrades have known this and been shouting it for years: the Mammagialla prison of Viterbo is a concentration camp where the deaths of prisoners, suicides, injuries and acts of self-harm are the order of the day. Those who call for “improvements”, reforms or even the hiring of more guards in the prison are our enemy as much as those who guarantee the existence of these places of torture: the state and its laws.
PRISON IS NOT REFORMED: IT IS DESTROYED!
