In a military statement issued by the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, the group claimed responsibility for the Yafa shooting operation in Tel Aviv, which killed seven Zionist settlers and wounded 16 others, some of whom are in critical condition.
Al-Qassam revealed that the operation was carried out by its fighters, Mohammed Rashid Mesk and Ahmed Abdul Fattah al-Haimouni, both from the city of al-Khalil.
The operation occurred amid heightened security measures by the occupation forces due to strikes from the various support fronts backing the Palestinian Resistance against the aggression on Gaza. This includes the major missile attack conducted by Iran as part of Operation True Promise 2 on Tuesday, which was in response to heightened Zionist criminality and the assassination of Resistance leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades claim responsibility for the heroic Yaffa operation, carried out by the Qassam fighters Mohammed Rashid Misk and Ahmed Abdel Fattah Al-Haymouni from the city of Al-Khalil. According to enemy acknowledgment, the operation led to the death of 7 zionists and the injury of 16 others, some of whom are in critical condition. The operation coincided with painful strikes that hit the heart of the entity yesterday, Tuesday, 28 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1446 AH, corresponding to October 1, 2024, during the height of its security alert across various fronts of the resistance, culminating in the large-scale missile attack carried out by Iran in the “True Promise 2” operation.
As for the details of the Qassam operation, our two fighters managed to infiltrate our occupied lands, stabbing an occupation soldier and seizing his automatic weapon, then carrying out the heroic operation at two different locations in the heart of “Tel Aviv”, one of which was inside a train station, where they neutralized the zionist settlers at point-blank range.
The Qassam Brigades, in declaring responsibility for this exceptional operation, tell the occupiers: The coming days will bring death from different areas of the West Bank, at the hands of our fierce fighters, the sons of leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Saleh Al-Arouri. We are preparing and equipping them to write heroic chapters of pride in Al-Aqsa Flood battle, which will bring joy to the hearts of our people, God willing. As long as the occupation continues to exterminate our people and children in Gaza, it will grow accustomed to seeing its dead in the streets of our occupied cities, with God’s permission.
