Hezbollah Bombards Haifa, Repells Invasion, and Vows to Support Gaza to the End

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah, launched the largest barrage of rockets at the occupied city of Haifa since the start of battles, Zionist media outlets reported on Tuesday afternoon.

The attack was launched just a few minutes after noon and lasted for around 30 minutes, where at least 105 rocket artillery shells were fired at the Zionist-occupied coastal city and surrounding settlements.

Occupation broadcaster Channel 14 noted that the attack began amid a speech from Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem.

Zionist air defenses failed to intercept several rockets among the large barrages, including multiple that hit buildings in the area.

Impacts where recorded in Kiryat Motzikin and Kiryat Yam, two city settlements which make up part of the Krayot cluster to the north of Haifa City.

Several settlers were transferred to hospitals by emergency services as a result of the attack.

On its part, Hezbollah said that its fighters launched large salvos of rockets at Haifa City and the Krayot, adding that the attack came in support of the Palestinian people, in defense of Lebanon, and in response to the brutal Zionist aggression targeting Lebanese territory and civilians.

Haifa subject to stricter preventive guidelines

Meanwhile, Yona Yahav, the Mayor of Haifa, said that a building in the Haifa Bay area was directly hit by a rocket.

Yahav has consistently expressed his fears regarding the regime’s inability to protect settlers in the city. Following barrages that targeted the area on Monday and Tuesday, the mayor reminded authorities of his council’s request to clear chemical plants in Haifa, which if hit could cause a catastrophe.

However, Yahav said that authorities did not respond to the request. Following the attack, the Zionist military command issued “stricter guidelines in the Krayo, preventing schools from operating in Kiryat Ata, Kiryat Bialik, Kiryat Yam, and Kiryat Motzkin.

Sheikh Naim Qassem Issues Statement on the Resistance

Hezbollah issued a strong statement through its Operations Room in response to continued aggression on Lebanon and Gaza, pledging that the struggle against the occupation would continue until the cessation of war on Gaza.

The statement reaffirmed the group’s preparedness and the enhanced capability of its missile forces, warning the occupation that any further attacks on Lebanon would be met with intensified retaliation, reiterating remarks by Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem.

Sheikh Qassem had earlier on Tuesday emphasized Hezbollah’s readiness to strike anywhere in occupied Palestine.

According to the statement, Hezbollah’s capabilities would be directed by the Resistance’s leadership through a command-and-control system that has developed to become “stronger and more resilient” than before.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon cautioned that the occupation’s continued aggression against Lebanese civilians would provoke retaliatory missile strikes.

“Haifa and beyond will be treated by the Resistance’s missiles as Kiryat Shmona, Metulla, and other border settlements,” it warned, citing the recent missile strikes on Haifa and its vicinity as evidence of the seriousness of this warning.

Hezbollah declared that it possesses the ability to strike the occupation in unexpected ways and locations, noting that its attacks on occupied territory would not be limited to missiles or drones.

“The Islamic Resistance sees and hears where the enemy least expects, and its hand can reach wherever it wishes in occupied Palestine,” the statement said.

The statement also highlighted the ongoing fierce battles in southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah’s fighters continue to resist Zionist attempts to advance into Lebanese villages near the border area.

Hezbollah dealing severe blows to the occupying regime

In the unfolding “epic battles,” Hezbollah underlined that occupation forces have suffered significant casualties, with more than 35 soldiers killed and 200 wounded from the occupation forces’ elite units.

Zionist soldiers, the statement stressed, are hiding behind UNIFIL positions and attempting to move through unseen paths but have so far failed to enter the villages protected by Hezbollah.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon repeated a warning it issued at the onset of the war, declaring that what the enemy had experienced so far is only “a fraction of the severe might that awaits them” in southern Lebanon.

Addressing the Lebanese people directly, Hezbollah’s statement praised their steadfastness and sacrifice, describing them as “the secret of our resilience, our pride, and all our victories.”

Moreover, the Resistance commended the people’s patience and loyalty, stating that their prayers and support fuel the strength of Hezbollah’s fighters. “Through your prayers, we sharpen our determination and fight with pride,” the statement read.

Concluding with a message to Gaza, Hezbollah expressed its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance against occupation. The movement reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the people of Gaza and their “brave and honorable resistance,” viewing this as a sacred duty.

Hezbollah emphasized that the ongoing struggle is in line with the will of the “master of the martyrs on the path to al-Quds” Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and vowed to continue its support “until our last breath.”

Hezbollah operating fully

In a televised address commemorating the anniversary of the Lebanese Support Front for the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, Sheikh Qassem reassured the Resistance’s popular base, stating, “We do not have any vacant positions [within Hezbollah]; all positions are filled, and Hezbollah is operating orderly and at full readiness.”

The Hezbollah deputy chief confirmed on Tuesday that Hezbollah’s command and control as well as the management of the party and the Resistance are “in an orderly manner and in accordance with the party’s norms,” stressing that the Resistance “overcame the painful blows that it suffered.”

He explained that the party “will proceed with the election of the Secretary-General as per the party’s regulations,” which will be announced at the appropriate time.

Sheikh Qassem affirmed that the merits and capabilities that the martyred leaders possessed are evident in their assistants and possible successors.

“The administration is cohesive” and so are “the Resistance fighters on the frontlines.,” he said. “This war has not affected our will and will not affect our determination to confront [the enemy].”

Sheikh Qassem pointed out that the Resistance fighters have proven their worth on the ground.

Resistance confronts occupiers on the border

Hezbollah announced a variety of operations throughout Tuesday, including overnight defensive operations, confrontations with occupation forces near the Lebanese-Palestnian border, and long-range rocket attacks.

Ocupation forces have been attempting to infiltrate Lebanese border towns and territory since last Monday, paired with a vicious campaign of airstrikes and raids. However, Hezbollah fighters have maintained their positions and thwarted 22 incursions since battles started.

Below is a list of Hezbollah’s rocket attacks on Monday, which include defensive actions and responses to the brutal Israeli onslaught on Lebanese territory and civilians.

  1. Five minutes past midnight, Hezbollah fighters fired a salvo of rockets at occupation forces gathered in Shlomi on the western axis of confrontation near the border.
  2. Concurrently, in the nearby settlement of Hanita, Hezbollah fighters fired another salvo of rockets at occupation forces.

Armored infiltation repelled, drones strike positions

At 2:00 am (local time), Hezbollah’s vigilant units on the western axis of confrontation, near the Lebanese coast, repelled an incursion into the town of al-Labbouna.

The occupation force consisted of infantry forces, military-grade bulldozers, and other armored vehicles.

Deep into the night, Resistance fighters fired unspecified rocket weapons and artillery shells at the Zionist force, dealing direct hits to it and forcing it to withdraw.

Hezbollah fighters also targeted Zionist occupation forces in Metulla with unspecified rocket weapons at 4:45 pm.

The Unmanned Air Force also launched swarms of one-way attack drones at the al-Baghdadi military site and the Ya’ra settlement, at 9:30 am and 5:30 pm respectively.

366 days of military operations

Hezbollah also published a video compiling scenes from 366 days of military operations against the Zionist occupation.

The Islamic Resistance also released scenes from its fighters targeting the Carmel and 7200 bases south of the occupied city of Haifa with rocket salvos and one-way drones.

The Zionist military command has stated that 48 occupation troops have been injured in battles in South Lebanon and the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.

In detail, it said that 30 troops were injured in on the Lebanese-Palestinian border, while 18 others were injured in the Gaza Strip.

The Zionist military censor has been obsecuring information regarding the ongoing battles near the border with Lebanon, as several “incidents” have not been reported on by the military command in past days.

In recent days the regime has been attacked by multiple factions in the Axis of Resistance, in top-tier operations that struck the core of the Zionist war machine.

Among such attacks were cruise missile and drone attacks conducted by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. In particular, a drone attack on positions of Golani Brigade fighters in the occupied Syrian Golan, killed and injured at least 26 troops.

The news website Walla reported on the state of occupation troops serving in the Golan, specifically those under the 210th Regional Brigade, who complained of a lack of protection from such attacks.

Troops have been “highly critical of the ‘Israeli’ military’s conduct and the inadequacy of security measures provided to protect them from Iraqi drone threats,” the news website reported.

Walla quoted soldiers stationed in the occupied Syrian Golan, saying, “Almost every night over the past week, we receive warnings from the air force or instructions to remain on alert.”

The soldiers pointed out that they are “sent to shelters for long hours or ordered to remain on high alert,” to “low” defensive capabilities against such systems.

“It is impossible to sleep at night, and we wake up in the morning tired, yet continue working,” soldiers told the Israeli media outlet.

“Some soldiers are afraid to shower at night in case an alarm goes off during their shower,” one troop said, noting that “keeping soldiers in the area on high alert every night without any response is unacceptable.”

On the other hand, troops engaged in the ground aggression on Lebanon are faced with continious attacks from vigilant Hezbollah fighters that keep on racking up the number of Zionist military casulaties.
