On the night of October 6 to 7, activists tagged “Free Georges Abdallah” “Free Palestine” and “Long live the armed struggle of the Palestinian and Lebanese People” on the SPF Justice in Brussels to claim the release of Georges Ibrahim Abdallah and to greet the resistance of peoples oppressed by colonialism and imperialism. Fireworks have also been set off. It was on October 7, the hearing for the release of Georges Abdallah was held. It has been almost 40 years since this Lebanese resistance fighter and revolutionary has been imprisoned in France for his struggle against Western imperialism and the Israeli colonial regime. He is the oldest political prisoner in Europe.
