HBDH Militia Protests in Metropolises Against the October 9 International Conspiracy
The details of a series of actions carried out by the HBDH Serpil Polat Militia in the metropolises of Istanbul, Izmir and Bursa to protest the International Conspiracy against the Kurdish People‘s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, which started on October 9, 1998 and continues today with the aggravated isolation and torture system in İmralı Ada Prison, are as follows:
1) On October 6, at around 23:45, a pallet factory in the Ulubat neighborhood of Karacabey District of Bursa was set on fire. As a result of the action, the factory suffered great damage and became unusable.
2) Our militia carried out inscriptions in Izmir on October 9.
3) On the evening of October 9, the ‘Litera Tekstil‘ building, which produces medical equipment, located in the Mermerciler Industrial Site in Istanbul/Beylikdüzü/Yakuplu, was targeted. The building, which was set on fire, was also found to have a great deal of damage and material damage.
In the person of Abdullah Öcalan, who has been resisting breathlessly for 26 years against the İmralı isolation and torture system, which continues to increase day by day, we salute the prison resistance of our revolutionary imprisoned comrades, who never knelt down in the face of fascism, and the prison resistances that turned the enemy‘s calculations upside down and gave hope and struggle to the people and their comrades.
The conspirators, who originally aimed to destroy Mr. Öcalan as a result of leading the just struggle of the Kurdish people, failed in the face of the resistance of the guerrilla and the Kurdish people, but the world agreed by the international powers was condemned to an unparalleled captivity.
Since the conspiracy is international, breaking the isolation and destroying the conspiracy will add a new dimension to our struggle for the United Revolution. In the face of voices rising from all over the world, the enemies of the people are being pushed into a corner more and more every day. Undoubtedly, in its 26th year, only in this spirit can we break the isolation by raising the struggle against our executioners and throw the conspirators into the dustbin of history.
We call on all peoples, especially young people, to raise their voices against fascism in prisons.
