Ahrar Movement and its Military Wing, Al-Ansar Brigades, on the First Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Founding Leader

Ahrar Movement and its Military Wing, Al-Ansar Brigades, on the First Anniversary of the Martyrdom of the Founding Leader and Secretary-General of the Movement, the Martyr—by Allah’s Permission—Khaled Mousa Abu Hilal (Abu Adham)

We, in the Palestinian Ahrar Movement and Al-Ansar Brigades, affirm the following:

First: We lost a first-class resistance leader, a distinguished national figure, and a voice of truth regardless of the cost. He carried the burdens of the homeland and its people on his shoulders. From a young age, he confronted the zionist occupation, spending over 11 years in its prisons. He rose through the leadership ranks of the captive movement, becoming one of its most prominent figures. He was the first to draft the Honor Document between Fatah and Hamas within the prisons. Upon his release, he served as a key figure in sensitive security agencies in Gaza and the West Bank, leaving a significant mark in supporting fighters and activists. He was a sharp sword against collaborators and traitors. Until his martyrdom in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, he dedicated himself to protecting internal unity, serving his people, and defending Gaza City. Despite his leadership role as Secretary-General of a resistance faction and the severe security risks amid the destruction and massacres committed by the zionist occupation, he chose to serve his people selflessly. He rose as a martyr, facing the occupier and its Nazi-fascist policies, exposing collaborators, and living and dying as a thorn in the side of oppressors. May Allah accept him among the righteous, and we commend him to Allah without reservation.

Second: We renew our pledge to Allah, then to the soul of our founding leader Khaled Abu Hilal, to continue on the path of struggle. We commit to speaking the truth in critical moments without fearing blame in the cause of Allah, following the example of our martyred leader. Resistance against the occupier remains our sacred religious and national duty. We will emulate the vision and strategy of Abu Adham in educating and mobilizing our people and the members of our movement and military wing, Al-Ansar Brigades. Through unified national efforts with Palestinian resistance factions and the Joint Operations Room, we will follow the course he set with his far-sighted political vision until we achieve either victory or martyrdom.

Third: We salute our heroic Palestinian people—the leaders of this phase and its emblem—whose steadfastness and unparalleled resoluteness challenge the crimes of the zionist enemy. Their patience under mass killings, forced displacement, and starvation proves they are the solid foundation of resistance and its fighters, inspiring the courage and creativity of the resistance on the battlefield.

Fourth: We hold the criminal zionist occupation, along with its main supporter, the United States, and its European allies—Britain, Germany, France—and all Arab and Islamic states normalizing relations with this fascist zionist entity, accountable for the ongoing war crimes and atrocities suffered by our people. These include murder, destruction, starvation, systematic ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity. We pledge to seek justice for these crimes and hold their leaders accountable in international courts.

Fifth: From the very first moment of the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, our victorious Al-Ansar Brigades, alongside other resistance factions, actively engaged in repelling and striking enemy forces across all fronts. We believe in the divine will, and we recognize the events of October 7 (Al-Aqsa Flood) as a divinely orchestrated response to the occupation’s crimes and desecration of our sacred sites. This battle exposed the hypocrites, purified hearts, and reaffirmed that Allah’s victory is imminent. “Victory is but an hour’s patience.” Indeed, the oppressors will come to know their fate.

Finally: May Allah have mercy on our founding leader, our teacher, and our role model, the martyr Khaled Mousa Abu Hilal. As we mourn your loss, Abu Adham, our eyes weep, and our hearts grieve, but we only say what pleases our Lord.

May Allah have mercy on our noble martyrs, heal our wounded, and swiftly free our courageous prisoners. Indeed, Allah always prevails in His decree.
