The DFLP said in a statement issued today that the fascist occupation government in israel and its army have been continuing their brutal crimes in the Gaza Strip for fourteen months, committing massacres and the described war of genocide, as confirmed by all international reports and reports of human rights organizations, the latest of which is the Amnesty report issued today, and that the occupation state is carrying out an ethnic cleansing operation, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, through displacement and killing operations, exactly as the founders of the occupation state dreamed and planned, to empty the Strip of its residents and annex it, and here is the fascist right ruling in israel trying to achieve this dream, which the resistance and steadfastness of our people will thwart.
The statement added: The continued targeting of the displaced persons camps, and the remaining remnants of residential complexes where families gather, and the intensification of the perpetration of massacres in the last two months in Beit Lahia, Jabalia camp, and Nuseirat, and against hospitals, especially Kamal Adwan Hospital, and the targeting of medical crews, civil defense, and journalists, in which dozens of martyrs rise daily, most of them women and children, and these massacres would not have continued in defiance of the international community, peoples, institutions, and countries, had it not been for the continued American support for israel in terms of arms and providing political and diplomatic cover, through the continued use by the United States for the fifth time since the beginning of the aggression, of the veto power on draft resolutions calling for an end to the war on Gaza, the last of which was two weeks ago against the resolution that was supported and voted for by fourteen countries.
The Front’s statement continued, stressing the agreement of the two American administrations, the outgoing and the incoming, headed by Trump, to give the green light to israel to continue its aggression and to accelerate the completion of its plan in the Strip, especially the plan to cleanse the north, which is equivalent to 40% of the area of the Strip, in preparation for its settlement, before the new administration assumes power on January 20. Trump’s recent statement and his threat to our Palestinian people, their resistance and the peoples of our region come in this context on the one hand, and expresses a crisis for isolated israel as well as the United States of America on the other hand, due to the unparalleled steadfastness of our people and their resistance.
The Front concluded its statement by renewing the call to all Palestinian national forces and the Palestinian political leadership to rise to national responsibility, and work to unify ranks and restore national unity, the main condition that enables the gathering of the elements of latent strength in our people, which considers Al-Aqsa Flood and the steadfastness of the resistance and its popular cradle, and the tremendous transformations it has caused at all levels, especially the international level, as one of its manifestations, and the implementation of the Beijing Agreement and the formation of a national consensus government as the gateway to arranging the Palestinian house, and focusing on ending the aggression as the central task, as an alternative to wasting time, which is made of blood, in searching for what is called a community support committee.
