Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced in a statement on Sunday evening that its fighters, in coordination with the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, targeted Zionist occupation forces and confirmed the capture of an Israeli reconnaissance drone north of the Nusseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza.
The statement from the al-Quds Brigades further claimed that one of its fidai members infiltrated a Zionist armored personnel carrier and carried out a special operation, detonating a bomb inside it, as part of a martyrdom operation targeting soldiers at the entrance to the al-Return Towers in the Azbat Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza.
This operation constitutes the second operation of its kind, with the first having been conducted a couple of days ago by al-Qassam Brigades.
Al-Quds Brigades also released footage of its fighters targeting occupation soldiers and military vehicles with explosive devices in the west of the al-Tawam region in northern Gaza.
Moreover, Zionist media reported that three soldiers were injured, one critically, after an explosive device detonated in a tank in central Gaza.
Al-Qassam fighters defend Jabalia, ambush, snipe Zionist troops
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance Movement, announced that its fighters were able to target a Zionist infantry force of nine soldiers entrenched in a house in the Jabalia camp using a TBG charge, and confirmed casualties among their ranks.
Al-Qassam fighters also destroyed an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) using an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the al-Elmi area in central Jabalia camp, northern Gaza.
Moreover, a Zionist officer was sniped in Abu al-Aysh street in central Jabalia camp.
The al-Qassam Brigades have been announcing major operations and complex security operations, particularly in Jabalia, northern Gaza, as the occupation forces focus their onslaught on the area.
