The MLKP in Rojava establish a new military force: the Martyr Metin Dîcle Battalion. This force has been created in light of the ongoing Turkish aggression against Rojava and Syria in general. Since the counter-revolution was launched with Western and Turkish support Rojava, just like Palestine, have been embattled from the agression. Communists and other revolutionaries have been rising to the occassion with this announcement being the latest.
The MLKP wroter on their X account: “ While the colonialist Turkish state continues its attacks on North and East Syria, the peoples continue to strengthen their self defense against the occupation attacks. We are ready to protect ourselves!
“As the Martyr Metin Dîcle Battalion, we announce our establishment. We stand behind our QSD, YPG & YPJ. We condemn the attacks of the occupying Turkish state. The Turkish state should know well that our strength will never be broken. We are always ready to defend ourselves.”
