The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, announced a ceasefire agreement, bringing an end to more than 15 months of relentless aggression on the Gaza Strip. The movement hailed the agreement as a victory for the Palestinian people and their steadfast resistance in the face of unprecedented challenges.
Hamas described the ceasefire as the fruit of the “legendary resilience” demonstrated by the people of Gaza and their courageous resistance against the Israeli occupation. It emphasized that the agreement represents a critical milestone in the ongoing struggle for liberation and the right of return for Palestinians.
In a statement, Hamas underscored the humanitarian urgency of the agreement, stating it was driven by a deep sense of responsibility toward the people of Gaza. The movement expressed hope that the deal would halt Zionist aggression, end the bloodshed, and stop the massacres and genocidal policies that the population has endured.
Hamas extended its gratitude to the global community for its solidarity with Gaza, particularly acknowledging the support of Arab and Islamic nations. It also commended international efforts that exposed the crimes of the Israeli occupation and contributed to ending the aggression.
Details of the Gaza ceasefire agreement with the occupation have been released. The agreement, which outlines an eleven-clause framework, marks a significant step toward resolving the ongoing war and addressing the humanitarian crisis in the region.
Key terms of the agreement
- Zionist forces are required to fully withdraw from all areas of the Gaza Strip and return to the pre-war borders.
- The Rafah crossing must be reopened, with Zionist forces withdrawing entirely from the area.
- The entity is mandated to ease the travel of injured individuals for treatment abroad.
- The entity must permit the daily entry of 600 aid trucks, as per a humanitarian protocol backed by Qatar.
- The entity must facilitate the entry of 200,000 tents and 60,000 caravans for immediate shelter.
- A large-scale prisoner exchange will occur, including the release of 1,000 prisoners from Gaza and hundreds of detainees serving lengthy sentences.
- The entity is to release all women and children under the age of 19 from its prisons.
- Zionist forces must gradually withdraw from the Netzarim corridor and the Philadelphi Route.
- Displaced residents must be allowed to return to their homes, with guaranteed freedom of movement throughout the Gaza Strip.
- Hostile aircraft must vacate Gaza’s airspace for 8 to 10 hours daily.
- All hospitals in Gaza must be rehabilitated. Field hospitals, medical equipment, and surgical teams must be permitted entry.
Implementation phases
The first phase of the agreement, lasting six weeks, will involve the release of 33 Zionist captives, both living and deceased. This phase also includes the immediate return of displaced persons from southern Gaza to the north, facilitated by the withdrawal of Zionist forces from al-Rashid Street to the depths of the Netzarim corridor.
Subsequent phases will address the release of the remaining 66 captives held by Palestinian resistance factions.
If the deal succeeds, the gradual ceasefire could mark the end of more than a year of sporadic negotiations and result in the largest release of Zionist captives since the early stages of the war, when Hamas released roughly half of its captives in exchange for 240 Palestinian detainees.
In further detail, a Zionist official stated that negotiations were in advanced stages for the release of 33 of the remaining 98 captives, marking the first phase of the deal. In exchange, the entity will release 1,000 Palestinian detainees, according to a Palestinian source close to the talks, who added that the first phase would last for 60 days.
Meanwhile, Hamas fighters allegedly involved in Operation al-Aqsa Flood would not be released.
The Zionist official mentioned that the first stage of the agreement would involve the release of 33 captives, including “children, women, female soldiers, men above 50, and the wounded and sick,” as well as a gradual, partial withdrawal of invading units.
Commenting on the number of detainees, The Times of ‘Israel’ considered, citing a copy of the agreement obtained by The Associated Press, that the regime will pay a steep price to secure the release of female soldiers being held captive.
Among the 33 would be five female Zionist soldiers, each of whom would be released in exchange for 50 Palestinian prisoners, including 30 convicted security prisoners who are serving life sentences.
The Resistance has effecively defeated the Zionist regime!

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,We salute with great reverence and admiration the legendary and historic steadfastness of Gaza in the face of the fiercest and most brutal “israeli” aggression targeting the oppressed Palestinian people.
We, along with all the free people of the world, value the immense sacrifices of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, including the martyrdom of several of its prominent leaders, such as the martyr commander Ismail Haniyeh, the martyr commander Yahya Sinwar, and others. Despite these losses, the resistance remained steadfast, continuing with strength and courage to confront the enemy until it forced them to accept a ceasefire.
We also extend our salutes to the supporting fronts, foremost among them the Islamic Resistance front in Lebanon, which demonstrated exceptional valor and sacrifice, offering its most precious and valuable in defense of Gaza, Palestine, and Al-Quds, crowned by the great martyr of Islam and humanity, the revered leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah—may Allah’s blessings be upon him.
We also commend the Islamic Resistance in Iraq for its significant and active role in the support battle.
We in Yemen praise Allah for granting our dear people and armed forces the ability to shoulder this responsibility by supporting Gaza with weekly million-strong demonstrations and effective, impactful military operations from the beginning of the Flood until the announcement of the ceasefire in Gaza.
Despite the ongoing siege on our country and the suffering of our people from the wounds of years of prior aggression and the harsh economic conditions, this has not weakened our resolve. Rather, it has been a source of motivation to fulfill the responsibility of supporting Gaza—a religious and humanitarian duty that rests on the entire nation.
Yemen’s participation in the battle to support Gaza did not stem from a excess of strength or as a show of power but from a difficult reality. The “israeli” assault on Gaza left no option for our dear people, who are imbued with a spirit of faith, but to participate and support, fulfilling their responsibility toward an oppressed people facing genocide before the eyes of the entire world.
With this battle now reaching its conclusion through the announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza, the Palestinian cause remains and will continue to be the foremost cause, demanding that the nation rise to its responsibility. The zionist enemy entity remains a danger to everyone, and its ongoing occupation of Palestine poses a threat to the security and stability of the region. There can be no true peace for the region unless this illegitimate entity, imposed by Western and American powers and sustained at the expense of the Palestinian people and the region’s nations, is removed.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulAfter more than fifteen months of legendary steadfastness and immense sacrifices made by our people in the face of a campaign of genocide and ethnic cleansing carried out by the zionist nazi government, supported by the criminal American administration and all the forces of global evil, our people and their resistance in Gaza have secured an agreement for a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange, thwarting the enemy’s plans for displacement and the eradication of the resistance.
In light of this, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement affirms the following:
We salute the steadfastness of our patient and resolute Palestinian people, who have sacrificed their lives and wealth for the sake of Allah, defending their religion, homeland, and the sanctities of the nation. With their legendary steadfastness, they have thwarted the enemy’s plans for displacement and the liquidation of the Palestinian cause, bringing Palestine’s just cause back to global prominence.
We commend the steadfastness and bravery of the fighters of the Mujahideen Brigades and all Palestinian resistance factions, who have humiliated the enemy, shattered its arrogance, and inflicted upon it successive losses that cannot be concealed, despite the siege, brutal aggression, conspiracies, and betrayals.
We applaud the sacrifices of the courageous support fronts in the nation—in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq—who stood by Gaza in a time of betrayal and international complicity. We pray for mercy upon their righteous martyrs, including the valiant fighters and heroic leaders.
We affirm that the path of resistance is the path our people have chosen to reclaim all their rights and liberate all their land. We remain committed to the arduous path until the enemy is expelled from our land and its terrorist Nazi army is destroyed and defeated.
We commend the role of the mediators, particularly our brothers in Egypt and Qatar, for their efforts in negotiations. We also extend our greetings to all the free people of the world who stood in solidarity with the Palestinian people and rejected the zionist massacre. We urge them to continue their activities and pressure until our people gain their freedom and the abhorrent zionist occupation is eliminated.
Mercy to our righteous martyrs… a speedy recovery to our heroic wounded… and freedom and near deliverance to our valiant prisoners.

Gaza Resists the zionist Holocaust While Netanyahu Drowns in His Failures and DefeatsThe brutal massacres committed by the zionist enemy in recent hours across wide areas, resulting in the martyrdom of dozens of innocent civilians—most of them women and children—are a living testament to the ongoing zionist holocaust in Gaza, carried out with U.S. support and partnership.
The extensive zionist escalation witnessed in the past hours reaffirms that this enemy knows only the language of blood and genocide. It reflects a blatant disregard for all humanitarian values and underscores, once again, the urgency of stopping this holocaust against our people and denying the occupation further cover to continue its crimes.
Amid this continued aggression, Palestinian resistance factions are intensifying their efforts to halt this aggression as soon as possible. War criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, mired in his failures and defeats, will ultimately find himself and his fascist government compelled to agree to a ceasefire after their catastrophic failure to achieve any of their objectives beyond inflicting death and destruction on unarmed civilians.
We reaffirm that the blood of the martyrs will not be spilled in vain, and the response will come through greater resilience, escalating resistance, and broadening its scope.
