“As a result of the actions of our armed forces, 6 occupiers were punished. The resistance areas were bombed by the occupying Turkish army 8 times with high-intensity prohibited bombs and chemical weapons, 6 times with warplanes, 44 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons.
Our comrades Piling and Zinar, who fought with self-sacrificing style in effective actions in the Metina area, struck the enemy effectively when they least expected it and suffered martyrdom in the clashes that took place.
The details of the actions performed and the attacks performed are as follows;
As part of the revolutionary offensive Cenga Xabûre, Şehid Savaş Maraş;
On September 30, the enemy force stationed on land to secure the military road built for the purpose of occupation in the Girê Sor area of Metîna was brought under control. At 16:30 an action was carried out with an attack tactic against the occupiers under control. It was clarified that at least 6 of the occupiers who were effectively hit with hand grenades and personal weapons at close range. The occupiers who wanted to attack our teams conducting the action were fired upon by our mobile teams in the field and a conflict ensued. In the conflicts and bombings, our comrades Piling Teyî and Zinar Reş fought selflessly and became Şehids.
We promise that we will always keep our comrades Piling and Zinar alive in our struggle, taking as an example their great courage, self-sacrificing spirit and effective way of hitting the enemy. Our Comrade Piling pioneered the mobile team combat style and the use of creative guerrilla tactics. With his high morale and enthusiastic personality, he spread the love of Hevaltî around him and knew how to succeed in any task. ZINAR REŞ
Our comrade Zinar Reş was born in Kobanê, which started the Rojava freedom revolution and is known for its patriotism and historical resistance. He grew up in a family belonging to the patriotic Kêtikî tribe. His family, like many families in Kobanê, met Rêber Apo personally and established inseparable ties with the chairman. Our comrade Zinar’s father stayed in the same place as our chairman and took part in patriotic works. This had a profound effect on the whole family and their hearts always beat with the freedom movement. Our comrade Zinar and his brothers, who grew up with such strong patriotic feelings, felt responsible for the freedom struggle.
They took responsibility in the Rojava freedom revolution and fulfilled their patriotic duty.
When ISIS fascism and the Turkish state attacked Kobanê in 2014, our comrade Zinar’s family also opposed this gang attack. Comrade Hogir Reş, the brother of our comrade Zinar, took part in the resistance process of Kobanê, which made history and was witnessed by the whole world, and fell Şehid. At the same time, the martyrdom of his uncle’s son, Hesen, and his uncle’s daughter, Bêrîvan, deeply affected our comrade Zinar, and on this basis he joined the ranks of the Kobanê struggle in 2015. He fought effectively against the IS gangs and was wounded three times in different places and times. However, he never gave up and every time he participated in the fight with greater strength, more morality and more enthusiasm.
Our comrade Zinar participated in the educational processes in the light of apoist philosophy and ideology and educated himself. At the same time, he developed and specialized in the art of military service. As the Turkish colonial state’s genocidal attacks on the people of Kurdistan increased, he aimed to join the relentless struggle in the mountains of Kurdistan to eliminate these pressures and attacks. He explained that the true roots of the Kurdish people are in the mountains and that it was his greatest dream and longing to live in the mountains. Based on this, he turned his face to the mountains and took part in the active combat process.
Coming to the mountains and joining the guerrilla ranks caused our comrade Zinar indescribable joy, high morale and enthusiasm. He said that he feels like a new person in the mountains and is very happy about it. In the mountains of Free Kurdistan, in the milieu of the guerrillas, freedom was breathed and the fight waged without hesitation. Early on, he integrated his war experiences into mountain guerrilla practice, adapting to the style of guerrilla warfare of democratic modernity and taking his place in the war. He took command like our great commander Egîd (Mahsum Korkmaz) and showed militancy like our self-sacrificing goddess of freedom Zîlan (Zeynep Kınacı). He opposed the enemy’s invasion attacks with his hatred and anger towards the colonialist genocidal enemy and took an active part in the Cenga Xabûre revolutionary offensive. - On October 5, at 07:00 and 18:00, our mobile teams hit the occupiers around the Şehid Agir combat positions in the Sîda resistance area twice with heavy weapons.
- Our mobile teams targeted two Skorsky helicopters attempting to land in the Saca resistance area during the night hours of October 5. After the effective hits of our forces, the helicopters had to leave the area without being able to land.
