The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing, responded to the Zionist massacres against Palestinian civilians on Saturday by bombarding the Nir Yitzhak settlement in the Gaza Strip with a barrage of short-range Rajum 114 mm rockets.
Zionist media had reported three rocket launches from the Gaza Strip toward the southern Gaza Strip.
Last week, the al-Qasam Brigades announced that its fighters targeted the Zionist-occupied city of Isdud [Ashdod] with a barrage of rockets in response to the massacres of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
Occupation media had reported sirens in the center of occupied Palestine, as well as in Askalan [Ashkelon] and Isdud [Ashdod]. Occupation media also noted that seven rockets targeted Isdud [Ashdod].
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Zionist military stated that ten rockets were fired from Gaza, claiming that some were intercepted.
Three settlers were reported injured in Askalan, with panic spreading among settlers and significant damage to cars, buildings, and streets due to direct hits in the occupied town, as well as in the Shefela region south of Tel Aviv.
Meanwhile, a senior Palestinian delegation from the Hamas movement is expected to arrive in Cairo today for discussions on the ceasefire in Gaza.
The Palestinian group’s delegation will discuss with Egyptian officials the latest developments in the ceasefire negotiations, a source said on Friday.
According to the senior official, new proposals have been put forward in an effort to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
