After 195 days of indefinite hunger strike, revolutionary prisoner Mithat Öztürk was transferred from the “well” type prison where he was incarcerated to the F-type prison No. 1 in Sincan. This was his main demand, which he won thanks to his determination. This fight was part of the ongoing struggle of several political prisoners on hunger strike, but also on a fast to death, such as Serkan Onur Yilmaz, against the “well” type prisons in Turkey which are famous for their inhumane detention conditions.
