1. We reject the threat of imperialist military intervention in Colombia, expressed by the United States government, headed by Donald Trump, on December 2nd. This is a serious act that disregards International Law and continues to deepen the violation of the sovereignty of the peoples and nations of the Latin American continent.
2. The failed anti-drug policy of the United States has been more of a pretext to violate Colombian sovereignty and intervene in the country than a solution to the drug trafficking problem or to reduce the demand for cocaine in the United States. On the contrary, it has degraded the DEA, turning it into the world’s leading drug cartel.
3. We call upon the Colombian people, the social movement, popular and democratic organizations, the entire country, and our sister nations to mobilize, to confront the military action of the United States in our national and Latin American territory, and to unite in the struggle for national sovereignty and the self-determination of all peoples and all the oppressed.
4. We also reject the aggression and attack on the sovereignty of our sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as on any other sister nation of the continent.
Colombia… for the workers!
