The US imperialist regime launched an unprovoked, barbaric act of aggression against Venezuela. This is the latest attack in a long series of destablizing and aggressive actions take by the US to topple the socialist government.
Several explosions were seen in various parts of the country and attack helicopters were launch strikes and hovering as well.
Military bases were clearly targeted and early reports indicate that the Defense Ministers house may have been attacked in the offensive.
The Bolivarian Republic denounces the aggression noting that “the aim of [the] attack is none other than to seize Venezuela’s strategic resources,” and to “impose a colonial war to destroy” the socialist project.
Details of the attack are still emerging but it is clear the war has now escalated to a truly kinetic phase.
