Iraqi Resistance Takes Responsibility for Downing US Aircraft

The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced that a US KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft was targeted by air defense systems in western Iraq, claiming the plane was shot down and that all crew members were killed.

According to the spokesperson, the aircraft was targeted, leading to its destruction.

A KC-135 refueling aircraft typically carries a crew of up to six members, including a pilot, co-pilot, and a boom operator responsible for mid-air refueling operations. Some missions may also include a navigator, according to information published by the US Air Force, as CNN reported.

According to Zionist media, three US pilots were reported killed in an initial toll.

Below we publish the Iraqi Resistance’s communique:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“Permission to fight has been granted to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory.”

In defense of our country’s sovereignty and its airspace, which is being violated by the aircraft of the occupation forces, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq shot down a KC-135 aircraft belonging to the American occupation in western Iraq, using appropriate weapons.

(And victory is not but from Allah. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might, Wise.)
