Palestinian Islamic Jihad On the Third Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Sheikh Khader Adna

On the third anniversary of the martyrdom of Sheikh Khader Adnan, we recall the memory of a symbol of the national movement and a beacon of the resistance, and the detonator of the “Empty Stomachs” battle that shook the pillars of the occupation prisons. Three years have passed, and the jihadi and militant legacy of Sheikh Khader Adnan remains alive, vibrant, and inspiring to the fighters in confronting the executioner and the dungeons.

Sheikh Khader Adnan embodied, through his historic hunger strike, the peak of the vigor and will that does not soften in confronting the oppression of the jailer and breaking the might of the executioner. He turned his lean body into a field of confrontation, and his empty stomach into a weapon against the brutal machine of repression, to prove to the world that will and faith are capable of victory, even if the hands are shackled with iron

The memory of the martyrdom of Sheikh Khader Adnan, who ascended as a martyr, is an inspiration of his jihadi and militant legacy, and a reminder of the suffering of the steadfast heroes among the prisoners as they face unparalleled brutality that has exceeded the atrocities of the Nazi detention centers.

Today, as we remember this towering national figure, the suffering of the prisoners is worsening in an unprecedented way, as they face the decision of the war criminals in the government of the usurping entity and the unjust and oppressive decision to execute the prisoners. This is the decision that officially announces the transition of the occupation to the stage of organized extermination behind bars, and turning the prisons into human slaughterhouses in sight and hearing of the world, in blatant defiance of all international charters and norms, and a disregard for the lives of the heroes whose will for freedom and defense of the rights of our people has not and will not be broken.

The Arab and global silence regarding the crimes committed by the occupation will not deter our people from their resistance, and the issue of the prisoners in the prisons will remain at the top of the priorities of the jihad of our people and one of the most prominent goals of the resistance.

It is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.
