IRGC Announces the Closure of the Strait of Hormuz

In an official statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

In the name of Allah, the Exalter, the Compeller.
In a previous announcement, we stated that foreign interference and the illegal routing of ships in the Strait of Hormuz would lead to a decisive response and disrupt the increasing flow of traffic in the strait.
Hours ago, these warnings were ignored. Several ships, incited by foreigners, attempted to deviate from the approved route and disregarded our warnings to correct their course and navigate within the designated channels.
As a result, one of the ships, which had turned off its systems and endangered maritime security, was fired upon as a warning and brought to a halt.
Following this incident, firstly, due to the insecurity caused by the illegal interference of foreigners, the Strait of Hormuz will be closed until further notice and until the end of U.S. intervention in this region, and no vessel will be allowed to pass. Secondly, if the aggressor enemy, under the pretext of this incident which they themselves caused, makes a mistake and commits a new act of aggression against us, it will be met with a severe response, and new enemy bases in the region will be targeted.
The consequences of such interference will be borne by the American-Zionist enemy and the countries that have provided their territory for these threats and allowed enemy bases to operate within their borders.
And there is no victory except from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise.
