Seven people arrested on June 16 in a crackdown targeting anarchist groups have been released by a judge. They were being prosecuted under Article 270 bis of the Italian Penal Code, which concerns subversive association with terrorist aims. The judge ruled that this offense had not been established. Two other people arrested during the operation remain in separate cases, facing charges of “speech terrorism” after leaflets were seized during searches.
