Resistance of Palestinian Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike

The unlimited hunger strike led by nine Palestinian detainees (photos) with a view to protesting their detention under the administrative detention policy of Israel continues. The detainees: Kayed al-Fasfous and Sultan Khlouf have been on hunger strike for 18 days, while the prisoner, Osama Daqrouq, has been on hunger strike for 14 days. The other six detainees have been on hunger strike for 11 days, namely: Hadi Nazzal, Mohammad Taysir Zakarneh, Anas Kmail, Abderrahmane Baraka, Mohammad Basem Ikhmais and Zuhdi Abdo. Last Monday, four other administrative detainees suspended their strike, which lasted 16 days.

Hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli detention plan to start an unlimited hunger strike soon to protest against the raids underway by the Israeli repression units on the chambers of prisoners in various prisons; this decision comes in the context of the recent raids Israeli repression units in sections 3, 4 and 26 of the Israeli Naqab prison, where hundreds of Palestinians are imprisoned, as well as arbitrary transfers of prisoners from one prison to another. 75 prisoners who were recently forcibly transferred from Naqab prison to Nafha prison officially decided to start a hunger strike to protest the Israeli arbitrary measure.
