Clashes with the MAT (riots cops forces) outside the University Campus (Ilisia)

From the flyers  found at the scene and the slogans that were heard, it can be concluded that the clashes with the MAT, from the Directorate of Police Operations of Attica which is very close, were made in response to the recent evictions of squatters (Katalipsi Evangelismos, Zizania, Ano Kato, Steki Polytechniou).

Clashes in Exarchia following police violence

Clashes took place in the Exarchia district, shortly after the end of the march which took place in the center of Athens, in support of the 16-year-old girl hospitalized after being beaten by police officers in the Neo Heraklion district. There have been pebbles, garbage set on fire and molotov cocktail attacks. Barricades were lifted and the police were also the target of fireworks. There have been several arrests.

Edit: The young woman was an anti-fascist. The police assault took place during an anti-fascist march led in the Neo Heraklion district, during an anti-fascist concert which took place within the framework of the calls to oppose the commemoration, on the part of the fascists, of the tenth anniversary of the execution of two golden dawn neonazis in retaliation for the assassination of Pavlos Fyssas.
