Palestine Ceasefire Ends, US-Backed Massacres Persist, Axis of Resistance Fights Back

Yesterday, December 1st, the ceasefire between the Zionist occupying regime and the Palestinian resistance broke down, due to the occupations intransigence and recklessness.

The Axis of Resistance, Ansarallah in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and a litany of rebel groups in Syria in Iraq all made it unequivocally clear that their operations against the colonialist project would continue if the aggression in Gaza started again.

Ansarallah for instance, before the ceasefired collapsed, announced they “declare [their] full readiness to resume and expand [their] military operations against Israel, including the targeting of Israeli assets on land and sea, if they intend to continue their war against Gaza”

While the Islamic Resistance in Iraq declared their “readiness to immediately escalate military operations inside and outside Iraq, as soon as Israel decides to continue its monstrous killing against Gaza or Lebanon.”

As usual the Zionist forces in collusion with the Americans commited themselves to massacring civilians. The occupiers committed tens of massacres across the Gaza Strip via airstrikes and artillery shelling immediately.

More than 100 people have been killed in an Israeli strike that targeted a residential building in al-Falouja area, in the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern Gaza Strip. The horrific strike killed entire families who took refuge in the building, amid the ongoing and indiscriminate Israeli aggression. In total over 200 people were killed on Friday around Gaza.

However, the resistance continues to fight back.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced targeting Israeli occupation forces’ gatherings in the northern central area of the Gaza Strip using three al-Zouari drones.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, affirmed that it continues to target occupied cities, Israeli sites, military bases, and settlements with intense rocket fire.

It announced that it renewed targeting occupied al-Qusds and other occupied cities. The Brigades intensified its rocket barrages, targeting “Tel Aviv”, Isud, and Askalan in response to Israeli massacres against Palestinian civilians and as a continuation of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Israeli media revealed that “Israel’s” Iron Dome system incurred approximately 70 million dollars in expenses just on Friday due to the Palestinian Resistance’s continuous rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed launching a salvo of rockets toward “Tel Aviv”, settlements in central occupied Palestine, as well as occupied Isdud.

Al-Qassam made it clear that this attack was a response to the Israeli occupation’s massacres against civilians, after the occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes on the Strip on Friday morning, killing and injuring hundreds of Gazans.

On its part, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that its Resistance fighters targeted the “Kissufim” kibbutz with a salvo of 107 caliber rockets.

In Lebanon, the secular Shiite Amal movement has officially joined the fight against the Zionist occupation, militarily targeting the sites of Ramtha, Ruwaisat Al-Alam and Al-Samaqa in the Shebaa Farms.

Hezbollah launched five attacks on Friday and twelve attacks on Saturday leading to substantial damage on Zionist settler projects and military fortifications.

While, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base at Erbil Airport in Iraqi Kurdistan, with a drone, which directly hit its target. The group released a video confirming its action as well.

Al-Qassam also launched its largest barrage of rocketsat Tel Aviv and Jerusalem since the ceasefire ended, confirming that their operational capacity hasn’t been effected at all.

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Movement, announced on Saturday that its Resistance fighters are engaged in fierce confrontations with Israeli invading forces in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood and strategic fronts in the northwest and south of Gaza.

Simultaneously, the National Resistance Brigades’ Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces, the armed wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), claimed responsibility for targeting the military site of “Kissufim” with heavy mortar shells.

The spokesperson of Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces stated that its Resistance fighters are confronting enemy vehicles in the eastern and southern parts of the sector, bombarding its positions in multiple locations.

The spokesperson released an official military statement, declaring that “at 7:12 AM today, our artillery targeted Israeli occupation forces infiltrating an area west of Gaza City, causing casualties and damage to equipment.”

He added that Israeli outposts and military concentrations in the Gaza Strip perimeter were targeted with several missile barrages.

March in Yemen

Ansarallah organized a march in Sana’a on Saturday of thousands of fighters, who are yearning to be recruits for the Palestinian resistance.

The recruits, dressed in traditional Yemeni clothes, long-sleeved jackets and Palestinian keffiyehs, marched toward Sabeen Square in the south of the Yemeni capital carrying firearms.

“They wounded our hearts by killing children in Gaza,” Saleh Aqlan, 67, who volunteered to fight Israel despite his advanced age.

“How can we sleep while these Muslims are being murdered in front of our eyes?,” Aqlan added.

“We will sacrifice ourselves and our money for the cause of Allah to support our brothers in Gaza, Palestine and Lebanon,” another recruit, Amiruden Karar, 23, said.

“They (Israel) are attacking children, women and hospitals; they have left nothing. And if the Arabs remain silent, we will support our Palestinian brothers and sacrifice our money and everything we own,” he added.

Mass Detentions in West Bank

Israeli occupation forces arrested 3,390 Palestinians including children across the occupied West Bank since October 7, 260 during temporary pauses.

The arrests occurred during home raids and at military checkpoints, involving Palestinians who either surrendered under pressure or were taken as hostages.

On Thursday alone, thirty arrests were documented, with the total number of arrests from Wednesday to Thursday night reaching 40.

This is not to mention the raids the Israeli occupation forces regularly conduct in the West Bank, cracking down and detaining even more Palestinians unlawfully, in frequent mass arrest campaigns. The vast majority appears to be detained in administrative detention, a type of confinement without accusation or trial that authorities can extend indefinitely.

During the arrest campaigns, Israeli forces engaged in widespread acts of torture, brutal beatings, and threats against detainees and their families. Additionally, there were extensive incidents of vandalism and destruction in Palestinian homes.

As the Israeli genocide in Gaza is ongoing, it might seem inappropriate to shift focus to the relatively smaller but troubling settlers’ violence and IOF’s terrorism in the occupied West Bank. However, it would be a mistake to underestimate the dangers posed by the recent surge in violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.

This seems to be a strategic calculation made by the occupation to expand its illegal settlements and steal more Palestinian land. Reports indicate a notable increase in the number of Palestinians forcibly displaced or killed since Oct. 7. The occupation seems to be fully aware that the diverting global attention from the West Bank provides cover for more land usurpation in the area.

At the beginning of this month, the 150 residents of Khirbet Zanuta have been forcibly displaced once again. At the time, armed settlers, some of whom were dressed in reserve army uniforms and others concealing their identities, started to break into their homes during the night, assaulting adults, vandalizing and looting possessions, and traumatizing their children.

It is worth noting that United Nations data have lately indicated that a minimum of 247 Palestinians, including children, have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli occupation forces since October 7.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, “Israel” has killed at least 15,000, including more than 6,150 children and over 4,000 women, as per the Government Media Office in Gaza. At the conclusion of the truce, the genocide against Palestinians was resumed, resulting in the killing of at least 37 Palestinians within three hours.

Resistance Holds US Responsible

The Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas held the Israeli occupation responsible for resuming the aggression on the Gaza Strip after it refused to accept proposals to release Israeli captives.

Immediately after the expiration of the humanitarian truce between the Palestinian Resistance and the Israeli occupation, “Israel” renewed its aggression on Gaza, bombing civilian houses indiscriminately and killing tens of Gazans across the besieged Strip in a couple of hours.

In a statement on Friday, the movement stressed that the Israeli occupation bears responsibility for the resumption of war and the Nazi aggression against the Gaza Strip, after refusing throughout the night to accept all offers to release additional captives.

The statement pointed out that Hamas offered to exchange prisoners and the elderly as well as hand over the bodies of the captives killed as a result of the Israeli bombing.

It added that the movement also offered to hand over the bodies of the Bibas family and release their father so that he could participate in their burial ceremonies, in addition to handing over two Israeli captives. Hamas confirmed that all of these proposals were rejected by the Israeli occupation because it had a prior decision to resume the criminal aggression on Gaza.

Likewise, the movement held the US administration and its President Joe Biden fully responsible for the continuation of Zionist war crimes in the Gaza Strip, after its absolute support for it, and after the green light it gave it again following the visit of its Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, to “Israel” on Thursday and his announcement of the occupation’s intention to resume the aggression.

The statement concluded by affirming that the steadfast Palestinian people and their resistance will thwart the goals of this criminal aggression and will break the will of the defeated, US-backed occupation army.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) also said the US administration bears full responsibility for the renewed Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip this morning, adding that the Biden administration continues to give the Israeli occupation a green light to continue its war of extermination against the Palestinian people.

The PFLP called on the masses to mobilize in squares and besiege the embassies of aggression in the world to pressure them to stop the war on Gaza.
