Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades released cinematic footage on Friday, unveiling a new Multiple Rocket Launcher (MLR), LM-90, which holds up to eight rockets at a time.
The footage entitled “Tel Aviv will be burnt to the ground, al-Quds will be liberated,” showcases yet another milestone for the Palestinian Resistance, both in terms of production capabilities and its military arsenal.
A placard displayed in the video, as Resistance fighters arm the system, shows a designed photo of martyr Ibrahim al-Makadmeh, one of Hamas’ founders and a prominent Palestinian figure. The placard also revealed that the rocket was named after al-Makadmeh, making this at least the second rocket to be named after the late leader.
Designated M-90, the rocket has a range of 90 km, awarding the Resistance faction the possibility of targeting central areas in occupied Palestine, including “Tel Aviv”, from various positions in the Gaza Strip, such as the southern city of Khan Younis.
Earlier in 2012, the Resistance put into service the M-75, which has seen substantial use in every round of confrontations since then, especially in the Battle of Seif al-Quds in May 2021 and the ongoing Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
It is worth noting that the video was released after al-Qassam Brigades announced three separate rocket launching operations, targeting “Tel Aviv”. Concurrently, Zionist media outlets reported “loud blasts” in the area.
Interestingly, this is the second system revealed by al-Qassam Brigades, which features an adjustable platform, allowing the launcher to fire at a range of angles via a crank.
In the context of the ongoing confrontation, the spokesperson for al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, announced that the Brigades managed to completely or partially destroy 21 Zionist armored vehicles in the last 24 hours.
He added that the fighters “thwarted an attempt to free the captured soldier Sahar Baruch, which led to his death, in addition to the killing and wounding of a number of other Zionist prisoners due to the barbaric bombing of the Gaza areas.”
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, confirmed the thwarting of an attempt by the IOF to reach an Israeli captive in the Gaza Strip early today.
The Al-Qassam Brigades detailed that its Resistance fighters detected Zionist invading forces attempting to advance and engaged them in combat.
Later, the Brigades reported that this confrontation resulted in the death of the captured occupation soldier, bearing the identification number 207775032.
Additionally, the confrontation led to the injury of other Zionist soldiers who had invaded Gaza as part of the ground operation, prompting the occupation to deploy its warplanes to bombard the area with a series of airstrikes to cover the withdrawal of the invading Israeli forces.
The occupation army admitted the deaths of two additional soldiers some hours ago, as a result of intense confrontations with the Palestinian Resistance in the northern part of the Strip, providing details about their military ranks: the first, a sergeant in “Battalion 699”, and the second, a soldier in “Battalion 271”.
With Al-Qassam’s announcement of the killing of an occupation soldier, the total number of Zionist soldiers killed since the beginning of the invasion into Gaza has reached 92, bringing the overall number of soldiers killed in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood to 419.
West Bank
In Areeha, occupation forces raided the Kitf al-Wad neighborhood and were targeted by Palestinian Resistance fighters with homemade explosive devices in the Aqabat Jaber camp.
The Al-Quds Brigades – Areeha Brigade claimed responsibility for the operation, confirming that its fighters confronted the occupation forces that stormed the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp with gunfire and explosive devices. They affirmed that their fighters engaged in fierce confrontations, achieving direct hits among the raiding Israeli forces.
A Palestinian was injured by occupation forces’ gunfire during their raid on the village of al-Mazraa al-Gharbia, north of Ramallah. Simultaneously, occupation forces seized vehicles and arrested their owners during an incursion into the town of Beit Liqya, west of Ramallah.
Occupation forces also raided al-Khalil, carried out arrest campaigns, and stormed the Wad Abu Kteila area in the city.
Military reinforcements were called in by the Zionist forces during the incursion into Kfar Qaddum east of Qalqilya.
In a related context, the occupation forces arrested the brothers Hammam, Issam, and Hussam Thiyab from the town of Kfar Ra’i in Jenin to pressure their brother Bilal, a liberated prisoner, into turning himself in.
On Friday evening, occupation forces admitted that a soldier had been wounded in a gunfire operation on a Zionist military site near the city of Nablus.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced their responsibility for the operation, which targeted a Zionist military site in Jabal Jarzim to the south of Nablus with heavy gunfire.
In another attack, an occupation soldier and two settlers were wounded in a gunfire operation in the northern occupied West Bank, according to Zionist media outlets.
The attack occurred to the east of Jenin and targeted the Zionist “Dotan” military checkpoint, where Zionist ambulances rushed to the scene of the operation near the town of Ya’bad.
Following the attack, al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Brigades announced that its fighters targeted occupation forces conducting patrols at the “Dotan” military checkpoint, confirming direct hits among enemy forces.
The occupation forces had raided several areas in the occupied West Bank on Friday, detaining Sheikh Najeh Bakirat, the deputy director of an endowment fund in al-Quds. Sheikh Bakirat was detained at his residence in Beit Lahm. He had previously been detained to be released earlier in July, on the condition that he be exiled to Beit Lahm from his hometown of Sur Baher located to the south of occupied al-Quds.
Lebanese Front
On Friday, December 8, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah, released multiple military statements detailing nine operations aimed at targeting the bases, sites, and deployment of the occupation army in both the eastern and western sectors along the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
The Islamic Resistance reiterated in its statements that the targeting of Zionist sites is a show of support for the resilient Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and a demonstration of solidarity with their courageous resistance.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah announced today, Friday, that it had targeted the Zionist al-Raheb site (opposite Ayta al-Shaab) on the border with occupied Palestine. Hezbollah used, once again, Burkan missiles in the attack and confirmed direct hits.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah, this Friday evening, mourned three of its fighters who ascended as martyrs on the path to al-Quds.
The martyred fighters are Hassan Ali Dakdouk “Jawad”, from the town of Ayta al-Shaab, Ali Idriss Salman “Abbass”, from the town of Armata, and Hussein Issam Taha “Abu Turab”, from the town of Mays al-Jabal.
Iraqi Resistance
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the US base in Conoco field in Syria and Ain al-Assad US base in western Iraq with missile strikes, hitting its targets directly.
In a statement, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq stated, “In response to the crimes committed by the enemy against our people in Gaza, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base in Conoco oil field in Syria with a missile barrage, hitting its targets directly.”
In a subsequent statement, the Resistance announced the targeting of the US occupation base Ain al-Assad in western Iraq with a missile barrage, confirming a direct hit on its target.
Earlier, in the day reports stated that several rockets were launched at Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone, which houses the US Embassy, during the early hours of Friday.
In further detail, an Iraqi military official said as quoted by AFP that three rockets targeted the vicinity of the US Embassy located in the Green Zone in Baghdad on Friday morning.
The official, who preferred not to disclose his identity, stated, “We are awaiting official information about the nature of the attack.”
Earlier, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced, on December 6, that it targeted the US occupation base of Ain al-Assad in al-Anbar Governorate in western Iraq, in response to Israeli war crimes in Gaza and the US backing of the Zionist occupation.
At the time, Al Mayadeen reported that a drone attack targeted US forces at Harir base in Erbil Governorate, which was later claimed by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.
It is worth noting that a Pentagon official said, on December 3, that US forces and the international coalition were attacked at least 76 times in Iraq and Syria since the start of Operation al-Aqsa Flood on October 7.
The US and international occupation forces came under fire from the Islamic Resistance in the region as the latter shows solidarity with the people of Gaza and all of occupied Palestine, while the US continues to funnel in weapons and equipment to the Zionist occupation.
In total there were 10 attacks on US occupation forces today.
The Resistance in Iraq affirmed, on December 3, that it would remain steadfast in its confrontations against its enemies, promising to intensify its attacks against the US occupation forces, until they leave “expelled, humiliated, and defeated from” Iraq.
Yemen
The US is consulting with other Gulf countries about “potential military action” against Yemenis, in response to the Yemeni Armed Forces’ continued operations on Zionist assets in the Red Sea, Bloomberg News reported, citing sources informed on the matter.
Reportedly, the talks are at the initial stages, Bloomberg News said, adding that the US and its allies are still in favor of diplomacy rather than aggression on Yemen.
It is worth noting that the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Sanaa government have reiterated, on multiple occasions, the fact that their actions in the Red Sea will only target Zionist-affiliated vessels.
The Yemeni people have organized weekly mass protests in support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance. Importantly, the government in Sanaa and the Yemeni Armed Forces have responded to their people’s call to action and to the instructions of Ansar Allah leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
In fact, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched multiple attacks on Zionist targets in occupied Palestine and have adopted three attacks on Zionist-affiliated ships, including the seizure of the Galaxy Leader in the Red Sea.
Yemen’s attacks have had ground-shaking effects on the Zionist regime, as the world’s second-largest shipping company, A.P. Moller-Maersk, announced that it will start imposing a new risk surcharge on container shipments heading to the Zionist territory starting next year, citing the need to cover rising insurance premiums due to the unstable security situation.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have promised to continue their operations against the Zionist regime until it stops its aggression against the Gaza Strip.
