The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Sunday that its Resistance fighters detonated several IEDs in an infantry unit after it entered a boobytrapped house in Khan Younis’ Bani Suhaila in southern Gaza, confirming casualties among the occupation forces.
The Brigades said that the operation involved confrontations with another occupation unit inside a tunnel, leading to the killing and wounding of the occupation force.
Additionally, during the Bani Suhaila operation, the group said its fighters killed a soldier from the engineering corps, delivering a headshot.
For their part, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced the downing of a spy drone northeast of al-Bureij in central Gaza.
On its Telegram channel, the group also published footage of its Resistance fighters firing mortars toward gatherings of soldiers and military vehicles in al-Zaytoun neighberhood, east of Gaza City.
As for the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, they confirmed that their Resistance fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with occupation soldiers in the neighborhood, adding that a gathering of occupation forces on Street 10 south of Al-Zaytoun was shelled with mortars.
In Khan Younis, the Brigades revealed that they targeted occupation soldiers and vehicles with a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells, and a Merkava tank using RPG shells.
The occupation admitted on Saturday to the death of one of its officers during battles with the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza. The killed officer was the head of the Commando Brigade chief’s forward command team.
With his death, the total number of Zionist officers and soldiers killed during field battles with the Resistance in Gaza since October rose to 248. However, it is clear the occupation does not provide accurate information.
Palestinian forces on Sunday also reported targeting multiple Zionist positions stationed throughout the Gaza Strip, resulting in direct fatalities and material losses inflicted on troops.
Footage of a drone operation targeting a military outpost in the east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza was released earlier in the day by the Qassam Brigades.
These operations demonstrate that Zionist claims of complete control or withdrawal from certain areas in the North are either inaccurate or incomplete, Resistance sources said.
The Resistance further announced that its fighters successfully eliminated a soldier using sniper fire south of the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.
Meanwhile, in Jabalia camp, the Mujahideen Brigades confirmed targeting a gathering of troops using short-range missiles.
Resistance from Lebanon continues
The Resistance in Lebanon announced today that it struck the “Meron” settlement, east of occupied Palestine, with Katyusha missiles.
In its statement, Hezbollah stressed that this is in response to the Zionist attacks on villages and homes of civilians south of Lebanon, namely the most recent attack on Khirbet Selem in which four people of a displaced family were martyred.
The Resistance in Lebanon reiterated that these operations come in support of the “steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their brave and honorable Resistance.”
50 rockets rain on “Meron”
Occupation media stated that the target in question in the “Meron” settlement is the “Yiba 506” military post, which is a northern air control unit belonging to the Zionist Air Force of Jabal al-Jarmaq.
This post surveils the northern half of occupied Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria until Cyprus. It also plays a role in every aerial operation in the region.
Zionist media also pointed out that sirens were repeatedly triggered in several settlements in occupied Upper al-Jalil amid the heavy missiles launched from Lebanon targeting the occupied territories.
The occupation entity continues to murder people in Lebanon
In parallel, Zionist attacks on villages and towns south of Lebanon continued as the occupation artillery shelled the outskirts of Kfar Shuba and al-Hebbariyeh.
Earlier today, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon commemorated the martyrdom of Jaafar Ali Marji “Redwan” from the town of Blida and his two sons Ali and Hasan.
The raid killed five Lebanese: A father, his two children, his wife, and one individual.
Nine civilians who had previously escaped the recurrent Zionist attacks on Blida and took refuge in Khirbet Selem, were reportedly injured in the attack on the residential complex, and were transported to the nearby Tibnine Hospital.
The town of Khirbet Silm is almost 10 km away from the Blue Line separating Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
