The Palestinian Resistance is engaged in fierce battles with occupation forces in the central and southern parts of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeast Gaza.
The battles are taking place in al-Mustawsaf Street in the center of the neighborhood and the vicinity of Ali Mosque and the UNRWA Clinic to its south.
Resistance fighters engaged several tanks with anti-tank rockets in the vicinity of al-Zaytoun Clinic and the occupation army has turned the Clinic into a command and control center and is destroying homes nearby.
Occupation forces have expanded the scope of their artillery shelling to reach the north of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, especially around the al-Hurriyya School and the Salah al-Din Mosque.
A new wave of displacement from most parts of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood has been observed, caused by the Zionist bombardment of several houses and the martyrdom of 12 Palestinians as a result.
Occupation forces are targeting people attempting to leave their homes with artillery and drones.
Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, said its Resistance fighters attacked soldiers and military vehicles advancing in the vicinity of al-Zaytoun Clinic with mortar shells.
The Brigades also confirmed that its fighters targeted several military vehicles infiltrating Route 8 in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood with two highly explosive ground devices.
On its part, al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, published a video of its fighters sniping at a soldier south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood.
Touching on the matter, Palestinian Resistance affairs expert Hani al-Dali said that the occupation military has no genuine tactical or operational objectives for raiding the al-Zaytoun neighborhood or other areas it has entered in Gaza.
He suggested that through this limited advance, the military aims to appease the extremist right-wing sentiments within the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stressing that this confirms that the Palestinian Resistance holds the upper hand in every area of the Gaza Strip.
A field commander in Gaza said today that occupation forces partially withdrew from the vicinity of al-Zaytoun Clinic after fierce confrontations with the Palestinian resistance south of Gaza City.
He told Al Mayadeen that in the past two days, the resistance struck Zionist troops positioned in the vicinity of al-Zaytoun Clinic using mortar shells and anti-armor missiles.
The commander also said that occupation tanks have been redeployed near the Dawlah Intersection on Salah al-Din Road, south of the neighborhood adding that on more than one axis in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, artillery and aerial bombings are ongoing.
He stressed the area surrounding Al-Madaris Street in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip is widely destroyed.
Resistance in Lebanon
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, announced today that it engaged several military sites along the border with occupied Palestine.
Hezbollah fighters attacked the Beit Hilel base and the Iron Dome position with attack drones confirming some of the components were hit and disabled.
In its statement, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said that its freedom fighters targeted gatherings of occupation officers and troops at the same location following the previous attack on the center of the Beit Hilel base using attack drones.
It added that the occupation attempted to intercept these attack drones using F-16 warplanes but failed as it was able to cause direct hits.]
Footage circulated on social media showed the attack drones evaded Zionist interceptions by conducting evasive maneuvers as they crossed the Blue Line toward occupied Palestine.
Reports from Southern Lebanon said that an attack drone from Lebanon hit a military target in the vicinity of the Beit Hilel base in the al-Jalil Panhandle.
Another report claimed warplanes failed to intercept drones that crossed the Blue Line toward occupied Palestine.
Zionist media said that a Hezbollah drone exploded in occupied Upper al-Jalil as siren sounds were triggered more than once.
In total Hezbollah launched nine attacks today.
