On Friday, July 19, several hundred people demonstrated in Tunis, at the call of the Coordination of Joint Action for Palestine, for the liberation of Palestine and Georges Abdallah.
The crowd chanted several slogans expressing its commitment to the Lebanese communist and denouncing France’s political responsibility in his continued detention.
The demonstrators also expressed their solidarity with the resistance of the Palestinian people (who are currently suffering genocide), denounced the normalization of reactionary Arab regimes with the Zionist state and rejected the criminal role of Western imperialism.
