Brothers and sisters of Mexico and the world: once again we want to share our word and in it our concern about the current threats of the narco-paramilitary group “Los Ardillos” against the communities belonging to CIPOG-EZ, but not only to us, but to the population in general that every day lives the terror generated by this criminal group that is dedicated to extort and murder the population without the State lifting a finger.

In this sense, we hold the municipal president of Chilapa de Álvarez, Aldy Esteban Román, responsible because the murders of the CIPOG-EZ promoters do not stop, while the murderers, the narco-paramilitary group “Los Ardillos”, continue to operate with total impunity in collusion with the municipal police and Aldy Esteban Román. The inhabitants of Chilapa de Álvarez, as well as the communities of the CIPOG-EZ live every day the violence of this criminal group while the authorities in charge of providing security pretend they do not see and do not hear the clamor of the population. It is no secret that the family members of Celso Ortega, the main leader of the criminal group “Los Ardillos”, work in the municipality of Chilapa and control the municipal president; the Ortega family terrorizes the population from their position of power.

We call on human rights organizations, as well as our brothers and sisters of the Sixth of Mexico and the World, to be vigilant, as the executions continue to occur and the threats against our communities are ongoing. We call to continue denouncing the violence that our communities live, to demand from their geographies and in their ways and forms the dismantling of the narco-paramilitary groups, specifically “Los Ardillos”. We do not forget our dead and disappeared, we do not forget the tortures and imprisonments of which we have been victims; we do not forget Pablo and Samuel, disappeared on January 25 in Atlixtac by the municipal police, we do not forget nor do we forgive.

We will be alert in our communities for whatever may happen, watching over the security of all the inhabitants, but at the same time we demand that the corporations responsible for the security of the population do their job. As the Indigenous and Popular Council of Guerrero we will continue to defend our communities, territory and life: WE WILL NOT SURRENDER, WE WILL NOT SELL OUT, WE WILL NOT CLAIM.

ATTENTIVELY:

INDIGENOUS AND POPULAR COUNCIL OF GUERRERO – EMILIANO ZAPATA
