Statement in Solidarity with Comrades Blamed for Cop’s Injury in Messolonghi, Greece

The restrictive conditions and the 3.000€ bails that had imposed on the two comrades blamed for the cop’s injury after a demo at an event of the party in power in our town, Messolonghi, with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Makis Voridis, after the appeals that were filed against them, were replaced, before a few days, with 500€ bail each and appearing to the local police station one time per month. No matter how they are striving to terrorize us, by targeted prosecutions and untenable denunciations, the solidarity will always be there to make the path affordable.

With the unreserved support of many comrades, we have managed to cover the amount of the bails and a part of the court costs. Nevertheless, except the financial part, the intimacy developing between us through the solidarity acts and the communication, fills us with courage and power. Nobody standing alone against the state, through the long path towards personal and global liberation. A risen fist, a tight hug to every single person, to the squats, the collectivities, to the antireport media domestically and abroad for the response and the solidarity.

To live is to fight for freedom, equality and breaking loose from every form of authority and exploitation
