Solidarity of the Peasant Organization of the Sierra del Sur Coyuca de Benitez with Ayotzinapa in the Face of Repressive Actions by the State of Guerrero

We repudiate the direct aggression with firearms on the part of police elements of the state of Guerrero against the rural normalista students of Ayotzinapa, as they withdrew from the day of mobilization in commemoration of the 11th anniversary of that tragic event where 2 comrades, Jorge Alexis Herrera Pino and Gabriel Echeverri de Jesus, were killed by federal police in Chilpancingo Gro.

The police and the pro-government media were in charge of spreading the version that the students were holding police elements in their trucks, which is why these elements opened fire on the trucks where the students were being transported. The cruelty of the police forces, fully accredited by the state and national governments in their constant affront to rural norms, is already bordering on the brazenness of being present at a commemoration of the murder of the normalistas, seeking to replicate this tragic memory.

We call on society in general to remain alert to the communiqués of the FECSUM and to be critical of the official information and in solidarity with the students.

To the rural teacher training colleges, they want them to disappear, we will defend them with struggle and blood!
Long live the rural normalismo!
The 43 normalistas must be presented alive!
