Urgent Denunciation by CIPOG-EZ: the Army Bases Are Withdrawn From the Jaguey Crossing

December 19, 2022. BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF THE PEOPLE OF GUERRERO, OF MEXICO AND OF THE WORLD:

Brothers and sisters, we want to inform you that last December 18 the army withdrew from the base it had at the Jagüey crossing. It is clear that during all these years, it is us, men and women of the CIPOG-EZ who have resisted the attacks of the criminal groups, because in spite of the fact that the army, the National Guard, the State and municipal police circulate on the highways, when they have assassinated our brothers and sisters, we have been the ones who have resisted the attacks of the criminal groups, When our brothers have been murdered, the forces of the State are nowhere to be found. It is enough to remember the murder of our brothers Adán Linares, Moisés Cuapipistenco and Guillermo Morales, who were murdered in Xochimilco, on the outskirts of Chilapa, where there is a military barracks.

What is worrying is that El Jagüey is an important point because it separates our communities from the territories controlled by the Ardillos, so we are once again face to face with the criminal groups. We call on our brothers and sisters in Mexico and the world to be attentive to what may happen in these days, because it is evident that the State knows that there will be attacks and death, but it is not interested in that.
