On Monday, January 30th, employees at the Fridley, MN, office of Atlas Technical Consultants experienced a chilling morning. Sometime in the night, in subzero temperatures, the office window had been smashed, and the messages “VIVE TORT” and “STOP COP CITY” had been spray-painted across the front.
The following statement was also found:
“We stand with land defenders, in Atlanta and everywhere.
We stand with Tortuguita, murdered by Georgia police.
Atlas must drop their contract with Cop City immediately.
Tortuguita’s blood is on Atlas’s hands, and on the hands of every individual, organization, and corporation involved in the construction of Cop City.”
