104 years after the cowardly assassination of General Emiliano Zapata, his struggle continues, we continue fighting for LAND, JUSTICE, FREEDOM AND IN THESE DIFFICULT TIMES ALSO FOR WATER, the Unification of Peoples and Colonies Against Mining in Morelos, present at the commemoration in the indigenous community of Tetelpa, municipality of Zacatepec, Morelos.
The struggles for our territories unite us and we stand in solidarity with the indigenous people of Tetelpa to demand our rights as indigenous peoples, we know that only the people save the people, that we have the duty to take care of mother earth in which we all have that responsibility.
Currently, the indigenous peoples, we have and continue to resist in our territories, despite the dispossessions that continue to occur in our villages, the struggle is of all, the struggle for the hill of the turtle is also our struggle and the struggle against megaprojects is of all so this day so important for us as indigenous and peasants raise our voices telling the bad governments that their mega projects of death we want them out of our communities that nowhere in the world open pit mining has the green face that they want to show us, We know and we have learned from other experiences that mining in its path only leaves spoils, devastation and sadness to our people that corrupting some consciences will not pass their projects of a few, we do not want to see in our communities as they are leaving in their path all that destruction as happens with the evil called TREN MAYA from our trenches and capacities we will continue defending the territory as do the ZAPATIST FELLOWS A WARM AND COMBATIVE GREETING FROM LANDS OF GENERAL EMILIANO ZAPATA SALAZAR.
