HBDH Burns Down Fascist Factory in Istanbul, Turkey

The United Peoples’ Revolutionary Movement (HBDH), a political-military alliance of ten Kurdish and Turkish revolutionary organisations, claimed responsibility for the burning of a factory in the Başakşehir industrial site.

This factory, which belonged to active supporters of the fascist war economy, was totally set on fire in Istanbul/İkitelli on June 10, at 5:30 p.m.

Making a written statement, HBDH Hüseyin Arasan Militia said, “The murderous and torturer fascist state is plotting treacherous ambushes and assassinating our people and their valiant children. Finally, just a few days ago, in Sulaymaniyah, the valiant son of our people, Hüseyin Arasan, was murdered with a treacherous attack. It is not possible for our working people to breathe a sigh of relief before this brutal, murderous state is destroyed. For this reason, this capitalist exploitation order and its fascist state is our target in every field.”

The statement continued:

“All the military, political, economic institutions of the order, feeding gangs, supporters of fascist power, fascist sects, economic resources… as a whole, they are all within the striking range of our militias. There is no peace for any of them from now on. They will live in fear of being confronted anytime, anywhere. With this awareness, we organized a sabotage action against a fascist government supporter factory in Istanbul/İkitelli.

On June 10, at 17.30, the factory in Başakşehir/Organize Sanayi cardboard-stationery and plastic block was set on fire by our militia. While the products in the factory, which belonged to the active supporters of the fascist war economy, which exploited intensively, were completely destroyed, the factory was severely damaged.

This capitalist exploitation order and its fascist state will definitely be destroyed. Our working people, who have suffered greatly under all kinds of brutality and exploitation for a hundred years, will definitely gain their freedom. We will never stop until victory!”
