Two PFLP Fighters Killed by the Occupation Forces in Palestine

Two young Palestinians members of the Abu Ali Mustafa brigades (the PFLP military wing) were killed on Friday morning by the special Israeli occupation units in the old town of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli military units forced their way into the Old City and cordoned off a house amid heavy live ammunition while demanding that the two young activists, wanted for opening fire on an Israeli policeman earlier this month, surrender.

Israeli soldiers opened fire heavily and directly on the youths the second they came out and agreed to surrender, shooting them fatally. They are Hamza Maqbool, 32, and Khairi Shaheen, 34. Clashes erupted following the killing of the two youths, which resulted in two people being injured with live ammunition in the back and foot. A third youth was hit in the face with a tear gas canister.
